My experience here might be a little skewed because of the fact that we were there only 2 nights and on a weekend, but we really enjoyed the Cypress Palms resort. It was our first time staying there, as we stayed at Bonnet Creek last time (we are Wyndham owners). We threw our weekend trip together in less than a week, and BC wasn't available, so we decided on Cypress Palms instead since it seemed pretty close to WDW and we'd have our own car.
I don't know if they had transportation to the parks. We didn't ask, and the information wasn't volunteered like it was at BC. The drive to get to WDW took less than 10 minutes, so maybe 15 minutes total to get to the parking lot of the parks we were visiting. But like I said, it was a weekend, so that could affect driving time, as I have no idea what traffic is like in that area on weekdays. The resort gave us driving directions to WDW property, and from there we just followed the signs with no problems whatsoever.
The one thing I really disliked about the resort was the way our unit was set up. We had a 1 bedroom, which was plenty of space for just me & DH. But the units face outside like a motel, rather than inside like a hotel the way BC is set up. And that would have been fine except the master bedroom also faces the outside. We were on the first floor, and it made it pretty noisy when we went back to the resort for a nap/break (I was 25 weeks pregnant in August, a break was much needed!) and could hear people talking as they walked past our unit and doors slamming. Other size units may not be configured that way, and units on upper levels may not have the same problem since I doubt they get much foot traffic. But if you are not midday nappers, you should be fine.
Overall, the resort was well kept, the staff was great, and we had no problems turning down their offer when they tried to get us to go to the owner's update. We just explained that while the incentive was great, we were only there for 2 days and wanted to enjoy the parks.
Hope that helps!
