Cutting Fabric w/cricut?

Anyone ever try this? Does it work? Do you put the "no-fray" stuff on the ends?
My DS (11) is driving me crazy! He wants to "create" with fabric

From everything I've seen on the Cricut boards, you cannot cut fabric. It just doesn't work. You can't cut foam sheets either. Sorry. I love my bug anyway

i have heard thqat people have had luck using fuseable web and putting the fabric face down on the mat and using multi-cut
i havent tired it myself -
i should - since i quilt - i have a CLOSET FULL of fabric right next to the cricut. If i try it soon i will let you know how it goes
