Cut Out Cookie Recipe

HELP I need a recipe for good cut out cookies that don't lose their shape. Also if possible the Winnie The Pooh cutter has the Pooh inprint on the cookie that I don't want to lose too.

I've used this recipe with the type of cookie cutters you're talking about except mine were Sesame Street ones. They always turned out so that I could see the imprint.

Sugar Cookies

1 1/3 c shortening
1½ c sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
8 tsp milk (2 Tbl + 2 tsp)
4 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt (optional)

Cream shortening, sugar & vanilla. Add eggs & milk. Beat until fluffy. Blend in dry ingredients. Divide in half & chill 1 hour. Roll out & cut. Bake 8 – 10 min at 375. Yield: 5 – 6 dozen
