Cut off date for code?

Hello all - thought I`d struck lucky there.
We need room only accomm. for Oct. 2nd and 3rd and really hoped that the code would help. However the CM says for definite the code will only work for the night of the 2nd and the 3rd is rack rate.
Didn`t it used to be that as long as you got in before the cut off date they kept all your nights after that at the discount rate??

I`m answering my own question here! I phoned back and spoke to a supervisor. Basically room only offers finish on the day stated , on this occasion Oct 2nd. Free dining is a different ball game - those dates can be extended as long as Oct 2nd is included.
The lengths I`ll go to so I can get a deal!
