Customs Spreadsheet

If anyone is interested, I have spent a few visits fine tuning an Excel spreadsheet that I use to track purchases and convert them to Canadian $ to report to customs on your return to Canada. It has the following features (some obvious, some not):

• Enter custom exchange rate based on current exchange rate
• Track amounts for each family member based on their own purchases (technically, this is how it has to be reported to customs)
• Track total amount spent against your spending money budget
• Track amounts remaining for family members spending money (for example, if your kids have gift money they are using for purchases)
