Customized Touring Plans from unofficial guide?

You used to be able to order a customized touring plan from Len and the folks at the unofficial guide for some small fee like $7 or something. They would work in your PS's and park hopping and whatever you wanted. I've never ordered one but always said the one day I would. This is the year I thought maybe I would because we only have one actual park day(plus TL & DQ & other stuff) and I wanted to maximize our time.

Anyway, I went to www.touringplans.com to see what the price was so I could decide and I can't find anywhere to do it. Did they discontinue this? Anybody know? Or am I just looking in the wrong place?

Thanks!

Do you see where it says, "Welcome to touringplans.com, blah blah blah"? In the third paragraph, it says the price of the plans and then there's a link where it says "subscribe."

Hope this helps!

Edited to add: these plans aren't personalized, but they have something like 50 plans that are suited for all kinds of needs.

But they used to actually personalize them for you.....I guess they no longer do that  Bummer!

Hi cruisnfamily,

We discontinued the customized touring plans in early January, in favor of the 50+ plans you see on the site now. A couple of things led us to this decision, the two most important being volume and Disney's new EMH schedule. With the new EMH schedule changing constantly, our fear was that we'd be inundated with requests to re-do plans on very short notice. We'd certainly be happy to do so, of course, but we worried that we simply couldn't get them all done before people left on vacation. That last part, where we couldn't deliver on something we'd promised, was what concerned us the most.

I would expect that in the next six months or so, we'll have plans on the site that should cover most common vacation scenarios. Things like the "cheat sheets" are tools we're developing to help adapt the touring plans to specific needs.

Finally, we plan to bring back the customized touring plan software later this year, but without any human intervention on our side. Look for an Animal Kingdom prototype sometime this summer.

Thanks for asking!

Len
