I have been trying to order the customized maps from Disney using their websites for the past couple of weeks. I go all the way through the process, but when I get to the "order maps" page, it keeps coming up with a system error and try again later. :confused3

Am I doing something wrong? Are there better times to do this??

Should I contact Disney directly?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

are you logging in to thier site?

Oh, yes. I am logged in and can see my itinerary and favorites' list. I have created my map and all my information appears correctly on the page.

I just can't order??:confused3

hmm, how about trying to clear your cookies?

Hi!:wave2: Does the site give you an order option? A couple of months ago someone posted about not being able to find an order button. I checked it out, and sure enough, no order button so no way to order. The OP finally created a new account with her husband's email and was able to order. I just let it sit for a couple of days and tried again. The site was working properly then and I could order without a problem. Good luck!

Thanks,

Yes, I have the order button. When I hit that, I get the system error, try again later message.

I'll keep trying.

Same thing happened to me. I just logged into another computer and did it there.

I found another thread with this same discussion and I was having the exact same problem..a poster on that other thread suggested (from experience I guess) to go into your favorites for all the parks and remove the restaurants....after I did that which took a little bit of time...it FINALLY worked...I was able to order the customized maps...minus the restaurants...not sure why this would make a difference...but it somehow does...so I am passing along this great tip as it may or may not help you...it certainly worked for me...

I was so frustrated not knowing what the problem was.....

Can't wait til mine arrive! By the way...the character themed maps are nice but check out the classic...very nicely illustrated.

Also, some other posters in the other thread also emailed but indicated that they never got a response...So I doubt that you will get one. I emailed as well (before I found the tip about the restaurants) and I got a confirmation email response that they got my email...but never got an actual response to the issue...

It worked. I switched computers. I only had a couple of restaurants on the maps. I didn't take those off.

Also, I did choose the classic style. I really liked the way this looks.

Thanks for all your help.

NOW I WAIT popcorn::

I just noticed we are at Disney at the same time. :hippie:

We can't wait.

Wow...we are actually there at the same time? I didn't notice it...will have to. We are there 6/16-6/23 at ASMO's....

Also we are practically neighbors...I'm from Nazareth and Hanover isn't too far..

I grew up in Stroudsburg. It is a small world after all!!

Do you drive or fly?

I just noticed now...and see your DD is 13...my DD is 12 1/2!!!!

We are flying out of Phila (for cost reasons - was a good price) and staying over at Phila the night before we leave...leaving our car there and being shuttled to the airport! Don't want to deal with the traffic and who knows what else that early in the morning since we are leaving on a weekday.

That also was a good deal as the room price with a week's night of parking is only a little more than if we would leave our car at Phila...so I thought this was a good idea and then we would already be at the airport for a stress free morning. Plus we probably can sleep in a little later than if we leave from here. We are flying AirTrans. Wouldn't that be funny if we were on the same flight!!!! Oh my goodness.

The deal sounds great. I've never heard of a hotel doing this.

We don't fly. We drive. We are going to leave on Sun. the 14th and go to Mt. Vernon for the day. Then drive to Orlando on Mon. We want to check in to WL in the morning and hit AK by lunch time.

Well, that's the plan at this time. It could change in 44 days.

I found something somewhere, probably on these forums about something called PARKFLYSLEEP.COM (i think that's what it's called) it's really a good idea. I didn't have anyone to take us to the airport and didn't want to leave car at the airport either...

Have a great trip!

I ordered my customized Disney maps three weeks ago: they came on Monday in the cutest envolpe with sorcerer's apprenitice Mickey Mouse spreading pixie dust over the entire thing.:cool1: The website was easy and entertaining to use!

I got the maps with Disney characters on them: they looks really fantastic, extremly well illustrated, they even came with stickers to stick on things you want to do. They are fun to look at most definitely, so glad I ordered them!!!! :dumbo::earsboy: :cloud9:
