Custom shirt for 9 y/o birthday at WDW

Hi....I am new to this forum and have looked around and found some GREAT t-shirt designs by members. I would like for someone to design my son a t-shirt to wear to WDW on his birthday in May. His name is James and he really likes Pirates and Capt Jack. He also likes Mickey and the Gang. I would like for his t-shirt to have his name, "Happy Birthday", and whatever else some creative person wants to put on it.

Send me some ideas and I would looooove to purchase it!

Hiya

here is something I came up with.
didnt know your sons favorite colors so I just did whatever I thought would fit the pirates theme.
hope you like it, if not, I can change almost everything or anything on the design, color ( I think the background may be a bit toooo dark) words, font, just let me know.

I also have this one, where you can add any text you want in the open space .....

the first one was kind of hard to work with the colors cause of the pirates of the caribbean background that is why it is so dark.... and also something went wrong with saving the image so that is why the edges look weird, sigh.
will wait to see what colors you want and I will work on it some more or on a new one.....

Hi...and thanks for getting back w/ me. My son LOVES this design. I think that you are right, maybe lighten the background a little bit. He thinks he would like it on an ash gray shirt. What do you think?

I think that James likes the first design. Could you lighten it a little and put it on a grey shirt? I think that we want to change the wording, also. On the top we want "Today is my Birthday" and on the bottom we want "James". He thinks that maybe he will want to wear it on his 10th b-day next year (that's how much he loooves the design!!).

If you are offering help, I will gladly take it. I can figure out the transfer/t-shirt thing, I have done it before. I didn't want to copy your design and print it if you were selling it.

I think that I like the circle Mickey design w/ the blue background. My son LOVES it! We are going to WDW and DCL in May to celebrate my daughter's b-day, my son's b-day and my 40th b-day. Very exciting. My poor husband doesn't have a b-day to celebrate, so he will be footing the bill for the big party!

My daughter will be turning 13 and she thinks she is too old for a "silly t-shirt", but I am thinking about getting one for myself, I just don't know what I want yet.

If you will help me out on that blue circle design I will be forever grateful.

i am so glad you liked the design I made you.
wow, all those birthdays and poor hubby for not having one, but you can always do what other people do and have an UN-birthday

What a great disign you came up with!! I too am looking for a birthday shirt, for my daughter for a trip in May as well as accompanying shirts for the family. She would like to have Pooh and Friends and will be 8. Any ideas you can come up with for us?

Oh Beth, I LOVE them all, how can I choose?

I think I'd like to go with the pooh friends in front of the castle, although if it were my bday I'd go with Abbey Road.

Can I have it reference her name, Kassidy and her age 8? Also, can I do that one and then somehow modify it again for the family and friends going with her?

How do these look? Kassidy's shirt has her name on the cake, but I can change the wording if you'd like for her name to stand out a bit more.

Oh my gosh, how cute are those! Kassidy could have the one that says "my" with her name on the cake and the rest of us could have the one that says "Kassidy". I think I would like her name on the cake in both designs and would there be a place to put the date, May 29, 2007?

Now to show just how ignorant I am with all this, once the design is finished, how do I proceed?
