Custom Harry Potter vest

Just got back from going to WWoHP at the end of October. Me and DGF, now DF, worked on a custom Harry Potter punk vest for her to wear in the park. We based it off of old "punk" band logos like Black Flag, Exploited, etc and modified it to be Harry Potter themed. There is a picture at the end to give you an idea.
It got her a LOT of attention while we were there. While we were standing in line for Olivanders a lot of the TMs ended up talking to her about it and wanting to see all of the designs. When we got to the show, she ended up getting picked for the wand show (she cried a little bit in happiness). We think this had to do with the vest and how much everyone liked to talk about it.
If you have the time (a LOT of time in this case) try to make some custom, creative Harry Potter themed shirts or jackets. It will show your love for Potter a lot more than the "casual fan" in a shirt they "just bought". It might increase your chances of getting picked for the show. Plus it gives you something neat to talk to the workers about.

Wow, how'd you ever even think of that?? I had also been thinking about making some "homemade" stuff also, but I never thought about that! My personal fave--the Snape/Slayer patch. Have that same one on my own old denim jacket

We were just having dinner and talking about things. She was originally going to make her own robe and a custom Weird Sisters shirt. We got to talking about bands and HP, and it just went from there.
There were a lot more ideas that we wanted to do, but ran out of time and room. I really wanted to do the Ramones logo that said Malfoys with their names in the circle. She said it was too hard to hand paint
