Custom Disney Shirts

I was reading the NYT's online and there was a really good article about Mickey Mouse as an Icon/Character. Along the side of the article was an ad for a Custom Disney shirts. Checked it out and the site is really cool, professional and you can personalize the shirts.

Would be really cool for a family reunion, a wedding, or just to get a shirt that no one else will be wearing.

Have fun with this site. I found several designs that i liked and the sizing and style choices are very good. Only problem I have is that the shirt colour shows up in the white/clear areas of the design.

We ordered plain T-shirts from Tshirtwholesalers at less than $5/shirt including shipping and made our own computer transfers using clipart and a printshop program that we already had( our printer will also flip and image so could have done it on a wordprocessor) The transfer paper cost 9.87 for 12 sheets and our transfers only required 1/2 sheet so our cost for each T-shirt is about $6/ shirt including ink. We have great looking one of a kind t-shirts for 1/4 the cost of the online places.

mythreeprinces, where did you find good (read CLEAR) Disney clipart? Is this something you found online or a software purchase? I found cute Disney clipart at disneyclipart.com but they are pretty small and trying to increase the size only blurs the picture.

I'd like to know, too. Is there somewhere you can purchase Disney clip art to legally make a shirt for yourself?

Not The most cost efficient way to make a Disney t-shirt, I know. But I have tried to make my own. And the quality of the transfer products on the market haven't proven themselves to me.

Just thought it would be a good way to do a larger group. And they must have professional products and machine, better quality(?), perhaps longer lasting(?). And I have never been able to find many of the images on this site.

There are several Disney Clipart software packages avaliable on the market. They would allow for greater ease in enlargement.

I purchased several Disney Print Studio products at Best Buy, they we 3 for $10. My printer allows for images to be flipped so I did a 8 1/2 by 11 poster and fliped the image as I printed it on a transfer sheet. I am not selling the T-shirts as they are for personal use and I purchased the right to use the images so I don't have a problem with it. Maybe I am technically breaking the law, but if I am many other people are also doing it and I haven't heard of Disney going after anyone.
