Custom Birthday/Anniversary cakes?

Our last trip to WDW was during the ''What will you celebrate'' theme. We were there for my DD 13th Birthday & I ordered the most amazing custom Birthday cake for her from the Grand Floridian Bakery. I was able to phone & email the pastry chef about a month in advance & the cake turned out even better than I dreamed it would (It was a Tinkerbell fairy garden cake - choc sponge with choc mousse & fresh raspberries covered in butter cream then pink fondant with a solid white choc tink on top & sugar flowers, truly a work of art)

This trip DH & I celebrate our 15th Wedding anniversary & I would love a custom cake made Has anyone ever ordered a cake from the GCH? do they even make custom cakes the way the GF & Y&BC do at WDW?

I would love to hear from anyone who has ordered a cake & what your opinion was of it.

I don't know the detail but I did read a trip blog where the author did exactly that at the GCH. I wish I knew more about how to do it. But all i can offer is that it sounds possible.
