We went to Disney on May 23-28, 2010.

May 23.
Well our trip started out as one of great fun and adventure. We arrived at 7am and got our tickets at our resort and the told us they would text me the room numbers when they were ready. We started by going to DHS on Sunday for Star Wars weekends! We arrived at opening and fought the crowds all day but had a great day getting photos with Star Wars characters and riding a few rides. Even though we arrived at rope drop and headed straight to Toy Story Mania the stand by was 80 min instantly and the FP line was 2 hours!!!! It was nuts. The FP line went all the way back to the arch entry to the animation area. We knew we would be back later in the week and decided to wait till then to ride it. We called it a day at around 3:30 and went to our resort, ASMu. We were assigned connecting rooms in the Rock building. Our rooms were not in Jazz or on the ground floor as I requested but they were clean and we were happy with them. We took a short nap and headed to the MK to try and shut the park down at 2am. We rode lots of rides, and fought the crowds. I kept expecting the crowds to thin out after 10 pm, then 11pm, then 12 am, and finally at 1 am I had enough and we went back to the resort for some much needed shut eye. The crowds never thinned out!!! :confused3

We got up around 8 am and headed to Epcot. Epcot is my least favorite park and we knew we would only spend maybe half the day and then go to another park. We rode Nemo, Test Track, and had lunch over at Liberty Inn. We went to Norway and rode the Malestrom and our week came to a screeching halt!. We exited the ride and there was a large group of us all exiting at the same time down a ramp. My youngest son who is 4 and only weighs like 35 lbs was walking in front of my wife and he stopped suddenly. She was wearing flip flops (against my wishes of course, if I had a nickel for every time I had told her how evil those things are) and she continued walking, causing her toes to impact the back of his tennis shoes. She screamed and said “ OW I think I broke my toe.” I was in front of them and said “oh you are fine you just stubbed it come on”. She then yelps in pain and falls in the floor. I turn around and walk over to see her toe making a 90 degree turn to the left!! :scared1: Yep definitely broken. I asked 3 different cast members franticly for some medical help. They all just looked at me and said “ ask someone else.” Finally one of them said let me get my manager. He was there very quickly and within 2 minutes of his arrival the EMTs showed up. They looked over my wife and asked some questions. They tried to touch it but she screamed and cried in pain. They said we can’t do anything for you but we are going to send you to the hospital. The one ride you never want to take at Disney World is an ambulance ride. They wheeled her out back with me and my 3 boys. All the staff was very friendly and kind during this part. The EMT wanted to know if were going to ride with her to the hospital and my wife said “no” for us to stay and pick her up at the hospital later. The manager then gave me 2 golden fastpasses to for any ride in the park. He then gave all three of my boys a pin for their lanyards. I was distraught to say the least. My BIL and my wife’s sister were with us in Epcot that day and I gave them my golden fastpasses and left the park. I went back to the resort to get my wife’s ID and med cards. She locked them in the safe thinking she would not need them. As we were opening our door our Mousekeeper ,Yvonne:littleangel:, asked if were having a magical day and I was honest and said no. I told her what happened and she asked if she could help me out? I said sure what do you mean? She gathered some towels and stuff and spent the next 15 minutes teaching my boys how to make towel animals. It kept them busy as I made some calls and gathered the things needed for the hospital. I thanked her and my boys all really loved the experience. We headed over to Celebration Hospital to pick up my wife. We arrived and they said it was a spiral fracture and would require and orthopedic doctor to fix it as soon as we got home. The gave her a boot and some crutches and told her to stay off of it. I told the doctor “ We are at Disney World till Friday” She said “ no walking stay off of it”. I am freaking out and panicking. We arrive back the the resort and I go to the front desk. They gave us a wheel chair to use for the week and said we would be moved to handicapped room but not until Tuesday! I took what I could get and we went back the room and crashed.

More to come later with pictures!
