Currently have SoCal passports...can we buy one for DD when she turns 3?

Our family currently has the SoCal passports and the website says that they're only available for renewals before expiration. When our DD turns 3, do you think they'll let us buy a SoCal pass for her as well? I haven't read anything about reopening the SoCal passes for purchase so I'm thinking that it'll completely be removed from new purchases and as people let their SoCal passes lapse, Disney will be happier and happier to push the SoCal residences to the weekday visits.

The short answer is no. I have the same dilemma. I haven't heard anything different than what we knew in May when we were discussing it then. In that thread it was suggested that we were looking for some sort of special treatment with our dilemma. Needless to say, I was glad to see that thread finally fall to page 2.

Best I can say is present your case Disney and see what happens. I don't think that's asking for special treatment.
