Currently Booked at CSR but worried about some of the bad reviews lately

We are currently booked for a standard room at CSR for 04/26 - 05/01/21. It's just my husband and I in our 50's taking a romatic getaway before our first grandchild. We have never stayed here but have been to WDW several times. I am worried about some of the bad reviews I am reading concerning transporation and maintenance issues. We could switch to CBR for about the same $ or rent DVC points and stay at SSR preferred room for about $500 more but we would lose all of our dining reservations that have been made with our current package. Advice please

We just came back from CBR and the skyliner is really amazing. The food options weren't that great (one casual table service place Banana Cabana opened, the rest more mobile type service) but we were able to walk over to the Riviera for more restaurant options. Another thing I liked was that although they had a huge pirate pool by the lobby, each "country" had their own little pool that was quiet, not children splashing around screaming.

This is my favorite feature of moderate resorts as a whole. Having so many options for a quiet pool that is open 24/7 is one of the reasons we stay at moderates more than any other level.
