Hi everyone! We are preparing for a trip to DLP in January and I was just wondering if after the horrible events in November they have introduced more security checks?

The US parks have recently introduced random checks with metal detectors. Is that happening at Paris, too? Are the lines for bag check longer than they used to be?

Any reports from recent visitors as to what to expect would be welcome!

Same as usual - Your bag goes through the machine. I've seen certain people asked to open their coat and an occasional hand help device sweep but it is not widely done. Atm bag check lines are horrendous as the park is crowded really since yesterday - 72,000 people .!!

Today Ratatouille was at 75mins at 10.30 and by noon was at 110mins

Afetr next week when every one has gone back to school etc it will be back down to walk on which it was throughtout most of Dec. Up to now park attendance was down by 33%

Heya - we were there on the 23rd.

The checks seemed pretty much the same as usual - all bags through the machines. But, more people definitely seemed to be being searched. Both myself and my daughter were asked to open our coats and move our scarf, as were a lot of people going through in front and behind us. There was also a lot of people being swiped over with a hand held device.

We entered the park late - around 2pm, and the bag check lines (and the ride queues!) were awful. Really really awful. However, this'll calm down in the next couple of days. The queues were honestly though the worst I've seen. I doubt very much that's down to increased checks, but more to do with it being peak season.

Thanks! I hope the Christmas crowds will have disappeared by the time we get there!
