Is there someplace where I can see a recent menu for Sci-Fi? Deb Will's is a little old. Also, does anyone have an opinion on this restaurant?

As for the menu, not sure of any other place besides Deb's site. As for an opinion, my wife and I found it to be just 'ok'. I had the barbeque chicken, which actually was pretty good. However, it is fairly dark in there, which made seeing what I was eating an adventure. We met up with my wife's cousin who works at Disney, however talking to him was rather difficult because he sat behind us in the 'car.' The atmosphere is interesting for a one time visit, however I have seen many people recommend just getting dessert there.

For my DW and I, Sci-Fi was a one or two-time place. It was fun the first time because of the setting. The 2nd time -- well, we realized that the food was, at best, mediocre, but quite filling. The movies had not changed over time -- same scenes, same trailers. So that was a little boring.

As Jim said, lighting is minimal, so dining is quite an adventure. (Is that your sandwich or my fries?)

Having said that, the shakes were great and the desserts were good. We go now for a snack or dessert -- unless we are too full. We avoid it for a full meal.

But I would recommend it for a fun, first-time, one-time visit.

Sorry :( ...I don't know how to post a link...but, the site that you are asking about is wdwig.com. There's lots of information to be found here to help plan your trip to WDW, including menus to all the WDW restaurants.

Hope this helps-

Worse food we ever had in MGM. Sitting in the cars you are not able to talk with others in your party. Over priced for what you get. No question one and only one time we went there.

:bounce: :p

We've gone to the Sci-Fi for lunch on our last 4 trips; food has varied from ok to very good, but we enjoy the atmosphere! It's just so much fun to sit in those dimmly lit cars ... it is very expensive tho' .. but we'll continue going until we can't afford it anymore.

We ate at the Sci Fi last October and I look forward to getting there again. DW had a great salad and I had a shrimp that had more shrimp then I had ever had in a dish before.
