current rise of the resistance is unfair

I doubt that. Have you seen videos from the BG distribution @ DL? That was CRAZY, and the majority of DL visitors are pass holders. They can jump over to DCA very easily. Do away with BG's and you get the mess USF has with Hagrids. That said, not a fan of the current system either because it does favor the experienced visitors who know the procedure and have done it before. RoTR just suffers from tech issues and popularity. Hate to say it, but you will never satisfy everyone until the reliability improves and the popularity declines.

Right now I can try to get a BG from my hotel room, and if it was the way it used to be and we had no park reservations, I could just go to a different park that day if I didn't get a BG. So feasibly we could try every morning until we got one...

With park reservations, it's not flexible. I'm not going to try for a BG at DHS if my reservation that day is for AK.

I disagree, if someone who's going doesn't know anything about it, that's on them. Disney sends out emails now even for those with HS reservations on how to get a VQ. You're literally pressing 2 buttons. People make it way more complicated than it is

I think its currently very frustrating but also as fair as it could possibly be given the circumstances. There is simply more demand than there is supply. Just like a sold out concert or cabbage patch doll(or PS5 if you want to be current), Disney cant give you what they don't have.

My PTSD is kicking in

If you wana talk about waiting in line and not getting anything. Reading reports this morning people were camping out at walmart at 2am, only for them to tell them they didn't have any to sell at 7am.

If there is still room in the alternate park (and there usually is), you can switch parks if you don't get a BG.

I pay for my ticket just like everyone else. I go through the same system just like everyone else.

Sorry but reserving it for first timers just isn't going to fly. It sounds good to you because it effects you.
No, it sounds good to me because it’s a tad more equitable. I got a BG on my fourth trip this year last week. I rode it, and I don’t foresee myself trying to get a BG next time I go to DHS - or any time in the near future.

Rise is a really fun ride, but it’s also an example of why even Imagineers need oversight.

I agree. We were fortunate to ride this in January but barely got a boarding group due even though we logged on exactly on time. After riding it, we talked about how great it was however we actually thought there was too much going on. If they had just one pre-show section and then on to the main part of the ride, it would shorten the ride and increase capacity.
