Current Epcot Conditions

Hope everyone found a great spot for the fireworks. They were totally worth the wait!

Was my absolute favorite last year, could have stayed there all night long!

We did spend a huge chunk there. We are at Napoli at 9:00 so it turned out to be the perfect place to hang till after we ate. Went over to China and theirs was ok but no where near the same crazy vibe.

Ok, dragging this thread back up! My hubby and I had a blast on the 31st as it seems most here did. I came down with the flu the day we left Disney and have been out of action more or less until today.

I guess we came into NYE thinking the absolute worst, but we found it relatively easy to get around Epcot. The CMs did an amazing time keeping everyone moving and we never felt stuck. We also planned well and had FP and dinner to spread things out. We loved Italy and China, fun vibes, and had a relatively easy time finding an A+ spot in Italy for the midnight fireworks. We went into NYE thinking it would be a 'one and done' but we enjoyed it so much I can see us doing it again in a few years.

How did everyone get out? We hung out in EPCOT WS until approximately 12:30 then walked to DHS. We did have to finish our beer before they'd let us leave the park, which we thought was odd (they let other people leave with beer but randomly stopped us and some others). We feel bad because by the time we got to DHS (12:50 or so), we were the absolute last people over there going to AKL. I'd say in total by 1 there were only 15 people waiting for busses. The DHS CMs were very nice and said all the ECPOT people coming over were pretty smart. We had a bus back to AKL all to ourselves and were back by 1:40 or so I think.

If any others got out with beers it was a mistake. They never let you leave with alcohol, not on any night. But they don't always see everyone.
