Thank you! Not too much more than SSR. Any worries that the dues will skyrocket in the next few years b/c of the animal upkeep?

There is no reason to believe that they will skyrocket, but it is difficult to predict. Looking at the dues history posted above, it would seem that ahuge increase would be unlikely.

No, I wouldn't expect any substantial increases due to care of the animals. Remember that the animal expense will be shared by AKL and AKV and the costs are mostly related to feed, salaries and veterinary care. Actually, I view care of the animals as a minor expense compared to housekeeping, maintenance, landscaping, front desk, insurance , etc.

Enjoy! :)

Yea! We may do the next add-on sooner rather than later. I love the points charts at AKV but was worried about dues. Sounds like I worried for nothing!!

Thanks ya'll!

Doc, could you explain this. I bought some VB very early. Am I paying lower dues on that contract?

Yes, the early buyers at VB had a subsidy from DVD for the originally planned expansion of that resort. When the size was ultimately scaled back, the suibsidy was not included for subsequent buyers and they have a significantly higher annual fee.
