Background ---My friend will be in WDW from July 3 to July 6. She didn't know about ADR and did not know about the DDP. She is staying at All-Stars Music. She has been to WDW two previous times around the 4th, so she does know what she is getting into crowdwise. I was SURE she wouldn't be able to find anywhere to eat in MK on the 4th. So we booked them last night and arranged for a DDP for her and her family.
Curious part--- WE HAD NO TROUBLE BOOKING ADR'S AT THE PLACES SHE WANTED AT THE TIMES SHE WANTED!! She got Chrystle Palace for dinner on 4th since she does not plan to leave the park that day, Teppakani at Epcot (even Le Cellier was open) on the 5th, and Ohanas on the 6th. All at decent times. I was sure everything would be booked. Not only did she get the restaurants she wanted at the times she wanted but she had choices!!!
Is this the way it usually is? And if so why make ADR's so far in advance? OR will it not be as crowded as expected??
Any ideas???
