Curious - Which do you think is the best resort for a romantic adult stay?

I am curious as to which resort people think is the best for a romantic adult only stay? Not that I could afford a deluxe resort, but still want peoples opinions and why they think that way. I don't know much about the resorts, so finding out little tidbits about different places is what I want. Thanks!!!!

Romance doesn't have to break the bank. My DH and I have taken several trips to WDW without our kids. Two of the most memorable stays, that were affordable, were POFQ and OKW. POFQ is a moderate resort, so the price is right, and we found it to be quiet and romantic in setting. The resort is small and has beautiful grounds. We enjoyed walking around and also taking the boat to DTD. OKW is another great choice. We rented points from a DVC owner and got a 1 bedroom villa for a steal! It was so nice to have the king size bed and huge jacuzzi tub. Very romantic! Oh, I also just remembered as I was typing this, we had a couple of very romantic stays at the Swan using DH's starwood points he had collected through work travel. The resort has a nice adult atmosphere, and the location is amazing! You definitely have a lot of options. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

I think the OP said she couldn't swing deluxe for this trip. But I agree with you completely!

POR in the mansions would be nice. Beautiful resort, love the walking paths along the river. Very pretty and peaceful. They have carriage rides and the boat to DTD. Also fun evening entertainment in the lounge.

We are staying at CBR for our 10 year next month. I can't wait to see how it is. I do have to agree with the others about POFQ as well..

Would you consider staying offsite? You could probably get a deluxe level room for a moderate price??

My deluxe choice would be Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House....love love love the theming! My husband and I went there for a romantic trip and it was great!!!!

I think the Poly is very romantic . The tropical grounds are beautiful, it's nice walking around at night under the lit tiki torches, and it's so relaxing lying in a hammock on the beach watching the fireworks .

I stayed at POFQ for my honeymoon and loved it! It was quiet and quaint and we've already booked our next trip at the same hotel. I highly recommend it especially for a moderate resort!

I also think POFQ would be a great option too!
