Curious about the political orientations of DISers on average

I forgot to post my own choice: I am a conservative suburbanite.

I live in a very rural small southern town, but I'm about as liberal as they come on most issues.

I'm going to jump in with the people who claim libertarian; I know we get ignored in all political debates, but we also make up a lot of the "swing" votes, because we vote the issues more so than people who vote along party lines, no matter what the platform.

I voted that I'm a suburban conservative, but I'm really moderate. I tend to be conservative concerning social issues and liberal concerning economic and other issues. When we take surveys in school to see which end of the political spectrum we're on, I'm always one of the closest to the middle.

I still don't know how to define Libertarians...I suppose we tend to think more like conservatives, with a liberal twist.

In my government class this year, we learned that Libertarians are usually liberal socially and conservative economically.

Carol, there is no need to be miffed. That's the beauty of polls--they are anonymous. I was just curious about trends overall.
