Curious about the political orientations of DISers on average

Having noticed a couple of controversial posts in the last couple of days, I am curious about the average political orientation of DISers. I am interested in what political "side of the road" you fall on in relation to where you live (e.g. in a large city, in a suburb, in a rural area). If you consider yourself to be more of a moderate, please vote for whichever group you are closest to in beliefs/viewpoints. Please do not turn this into a debate. Thanks!

Middle of the roader who has always lived in an urban setting until the last few years.

Edited to add that I voted Suburban Liberal, because of my views on issues such as gay marriage (pro), abortion (prochoice) and religious in public schools (against).

I always tell people I'm a really conservative Democrat or a really liberal Republican. I think it just depends on my mood and the subject matter.

I don't consider myself very political at all. I can see the pluses and minuses of being a conserative and being a liberal, but I don't think I'm really either one too strongly.

I live in a rural area though.

I still don't know how to define Libertarians...I suppose we tend to think more like conservatives, with a liberal twist. In any case, it was difficult to vote because I can't define myself in either category.

I tend to be Conservative on Fiscal issues and more liberal on Social issues (equality for Gays/Lesbians etc).

I am liberal.

I am only conservative about issues relating to drugs, alcohol, and some assisted suicide and prochoice issues

I'm urban, bordering on a suburban area!

Conservative and rural (almot suburban, but there's a horse pasture behind my house, so I thought I'd better vote 'rural'!)

I really can't think of anything that I think liberally on....except how much icing I want on my cupcake.....then I think liberally!

I wish you had a place for moderates. I really am not liberal and I am really not a conservative. I have been a member of the GOP - worked in defense and loved Reagan and I now am and vote Dem. Oh, and I live in an urban area - not much of MA is rural but I am originally from the rural areas of W.MA.

When I was 18 I registered as a Democrat and had many liberal views...but age has changed that...so now I'm a moderate conservative in a suburban community.

I consider myself a moderate, honestly at this point I don't know if that makes me republican or democrat, however I am a registered democrat.

Frankly there is so much "politics" in politics these days that it is difficult to be strongly behind any individual politician holding or running for higher level positions. They all seem to reverse their positions or present themselves however it works the best for their packaging, to get the most votes.
