Just another newbie question? Does DCL provide kiddie cups at the meals? By kiddie, I mean plastic with lids and straws. Or, are they available at the drink station on deck 9. I'm just wondering what kind of cups or how many I have to bring for my 2 year old. Thanks!

We are newbies too so cannot answer your question but I am planning on taking some of those new disposable sippy cups with us. They would be very handy, have you tried them?.

No, but I too bought some for the trip. I also bought some of the new insulated Playtex sippy cups. Thought it might help keep liquids cool longer. Have a great trip.

HI We just returned from our cruise and at meals they would bring my sons drink in one of those styrofoam cups with a lid on it and straw. On deck 9 they have the same cups with lids and straws.Webrought along some sippy cups they were easier for my son to use. hope this helps.

cumickey - Who makes the disposibe sippie-cups and where do you buy them. We tend to loose our playtex sippie cups all the time and fear we will do the same on the trip. These sound like a great way to go. TIA

The disposable sippy cups are at Toys R Us by the regular sippy cups. I can't remember who makes them, but they are clear blue plastic with clear green lids. 6 in a package. very nice :) They also sell disposable snack containers, like Gladware.

Thanks for the info on the cups. My will be 2 year old doesn't do well with straws. He likes to tilt the cups back. At his day care they drink out of little plastic cups (no lids) so I'll pack some of those too. He drinks really well out of a cup but can't seem to get the hang of the straw thing!

tinkerbell4two - I have also seen them in walmart at the end of the aisle for baby food, I cannot recall the brand but it could well be playtex!. It will be a luxury not to rush back anywhere for a forgotten cup eh!!

With two toddlers DDs 3 and 1, the cups seem to disapear like socks. We are planning on doing a lot of walking on our excursions with our stroller and DD 1 seems to launch her cup or bottle right when I'm looking the other way. I'll see what I can find here in Cali.

Went to Babies 'R Us and they had just gotten them in. They are made by The First Years and come in a set of 6. They also had disposable snack cups, but I use baggies for snacks. Now all I have to worry about is .....

Thanks again!

Hey Tink.

Rubbermade has sippie and straw cups you can find them with the other disposible things at wal-mart or target. I think that glad or ziploc has disposible/reuseble straw cups also. I think the sippies come in a four pack with different color lids and are about 4oz, the straw cups come in a pack of two or three and are about 8 to 14oz. Hope this helps.

diznynut - Thanks. I didn't see any at Target, but I'll check Walmart since they seem to have everything. It's just out of my way and I don't go unless it's a must and can't be found anywhere else. Anybody have any other toddler tips?
