Hi Dissers!

Just wondering about my cupcake options at Disney Springs. I know Sprinkes is there, but their cupcakes look "boring" at least to my four year olds little mind and I'm hoping to get him something special for his birthday. I've seen lots of pictures of the elaborate cupcakes around the WDW property. Any luck getting these in Disney Springs? Do they carry these at Goofy's Candy Company or elsewhere? Thanks as always!!!

I was not impressed with Erin McKenna's when it was Babycakes...and the name change has done nothing to help. The epitome of what a desert the world of gluten-free cupcakes used to be. If they'd wanted to import a NYC gluten-free bakery, they should have gone with Tu-Lu's. Moist, delicious, and 10 times better.

I just forego them when I'm at Disney since Sprinkles only has red velvet (Yuck!!) as their gluten-free or it's Erin "Please give me a lake to wash this dry junk down with" McKenna. Pass with gusto on those choices.

What about the Patisserie? Those look interesting if you can eat gluten.

We can eat gluten, and dairy. I'll look at Patisserie, didn't want something too fancy for the 4 year old boy in the sense of flavour, more the design. Lol.

I hear you all on dry cupcakes. I have no time for them. Shameless plug for my city: if you're ever in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, we have the best cupcakes in the world at Crave Cupcakes!!!!!!!!

I think Candy Cauldron also has cupcakes. My go-to is usually Sprinkles, but sometimes you just want one of those huge, over the top Disney cupcakes with lots of frosting that is probably just shortening and sugar, but taste so good! So Candy Cauldron or Goofy's Candy Company.

I gave Erin McKenna's a chance recently with one of their cupcakes, and I thought it was dry and flavorless. :(

The second link above, if scroll down, discusses the "Cupcake Crawl."

I plan on tracking down this Rose Gold Cupcake (Sunshine Seasons) next week.

Disney seems to make all these incredible cupcakes but they are not in one place so you have to track them down. We are staying at the Contemporary and I hear the Contempo Café has some fabulous cupcake options.
