I have TONS of cupcakes needing to be frosted... they are just waiting for me to get out there and frost them... yet, here I sit, reading and typing instead!

We are having a Birthday Party tomorrow... so they need to get done... I did finally get them all baked, they didn't turn out as well as they could have, or as good as in the past, but they are baked!

The dog helped himself to one, he seemed to enjoy it just fine without the frosting! He ate the paper and all, well all but a few crumbs!

I guess he knows that he won't be getting one at the party tomorrow (it's not at home, but he will be) and it was his birthday yesterday!:rotfl:

Ok, off to frost!

see my tag.. I could always use a cupcake!

Take all the frosting and stick it in a freezer ziploc bag.

Snip the corner off, and swirl it onto said cupcakes. Its faster.

We'll see you back in 5 minutes. :)

:thumbsup2 We are ziplock bag fans. Works great for devilled eggs too.

I feel your pain. A few weeks back I was icing cupcakes every Thursday night. We were tailgating and then feeding our high school football team after each game. I was making around seven dozen cupcakes each week. Our boys told me if I missed a week we would lose out of the playoffs. They made it to the quarter finals before losing.

Man, I should have read some more posts before I went to frost them... I do usually put the frosting in a frosting thingie (not sure what to call it) and make them "pretty" but I was going to be using 3 different kinds of frosting and so I didn't want to have to clean it each time (yes lazy) so I frosted them with the back of the spoon.

Now, I am wondering why I never thought to use a ziplock?!?!?:confused3 That would have been wonderful! I have used ziplocks with some of my tips before when I ran out of frosting bags... but never thought to use them with the conner cut off.

I will deffently do that next time!

Since the party is tomorrow, I can send out cupcakes on Monday:thumbsup2 I have made more than I would like to look at and I am not wanting to have to bring them back home, so hope everyone eats lots!!

They all turned out pretty good. I put sprinkles on some and gummie life savors on the others, it's what the 4 year old (tomorrow) wanted!

I'm off to bed to dream about all the cupcakes that have taken over my kitchen!:confused3

Thanks
