Welcome! Welcome! Welcome to my gazillionth trip report! This will be a trip report unlike any of the others that I have written in the past.
Why is that?
Well, in the past, we were a party of three, four, five and even eleven! This trip was different. This vacation was just my husband and I. And it was a doozie. Eleven days, 1,600+ miles, two resorts, one tour, free money and lots and lots of laughs!
Now for those of you who have followed my reports before, you know that I like to make up words and phrases. Words like gazillionth and crapadelic.
I like to tell it like it is even if it is embarrassing to myself or others with me. Like the time my front tooth fell out in the middle of Electric Umbrella or the time that I insisted that we take jumping pictures and John fell in the flower bed. No one would have never known that those things happened if I hadn't written about them.
I post pictures....all sorts of pictures...even pictures where I look like Hannibal Lector. Or pictures of John's big toe when someone ran over it and it was all swollen up and red as a beet.
For those of you who aren't past readers, well, don't say that I didn't warn ya.
Enough of the warnings, let's move on to introductions shall we? My name is Lisa a/k/a Mickeystoontown. I'm a paralegal in a law office that specializes in family law. I'm also a travel agent specializing in Disney vacations. After having made 20+ trips to Walt Disney World with my family, I figured why not start helping people make their dream vacations come true? It is my passion and I love it! I also like to sew and have an Etsy shop.
I'm married to my husband, John. My trip reports are often riddled with pictures of John either on his phone or sleeping. Thankfully, this trip, there weren't many pictures of him doing either. We focused our full attention on spending quality time with one another. John is a master craftsman specializing in cabinets. We also have an Etsy shop for our woodworking projects.
Even though this was our 24th trip to Walt Disney World, this trip, we were going to be experiencing many "new" things. New resorts. New restaurants. New attractions. New time of year to visit. Lots of news!
So come on along and read about our adventures! Oh and please don't just lurk. I love seeing old familiar faces and meeting new Dis folks!
Coming up: Preparation is the key to any good vacation!
