Cub's Den or Neverland Club for 9 & 4 yr old??? Another twist/question! LOL

I wasn't overly impressed with Cub's Den. My 7 year old was the only kid in there the night he went, and he didn't have a good time. Says they didn't play with him. He's very outgoing, so no shyness issues. That kind of bothered me a bit. I felt guilty as I was taking my wife out to Artist Point, and we offered him the choice. I know he was looking forward to it, but just didn't enjoy himself.

I think because it's Disney, we expect some sort of magical service out of everything they do.

Well let me give you the latest update! LOL

I have set the kids up at Camp Dolphin for Monday night and we have ressies at Blue Zoo. We are really looking forward to it! As far as going to MGM...that is completely up in the air. We would like to go because we NEVER can go on the big rides together due to having a 4 yr old HOWEVER we also enjoy Jellyrolls and the Boardwalk area so we may just end up walking over there...heck, knowing us we may end up walking over to WS and having a glass of wine in France! ;) Any of these options will be WONDERFUL.

We still have the reservations for Cub's Den and Neverland for Thurs night. I will have to decide which I want to keep today. We thought if the boys really enjoy the club on Monday then maybe they would want to go on Thurs also...this would give us a little more adult time as well. We will not be going out for dinner but maybe have a drink and an appetizer. We will play this night by ear. We may even head over to MK!

Thanks for all the responses. We are SOOO looking forward to WDW and it is nice to know we will have a few hours together as well!

Hi-

I don't know if you've made your mind up yet, but I stumbled across this (and I mean stumbled!) with links to photos of neverland. Sssssh, as I fear they'll pull the pictures if they know people are actually LOOKING at them! ;) I was checking out Neverland club, and I too found it difficult to get much info at all.

ANYWHO, here's the link - just down a bit are links to pictures of the club. Looks pretty cool for boys, with the huge skull in the room. Hmmmm....

We'll have to see for my daughter, tho.

hth!

WOW! Well we did not end up sending them to either! LOL We did have them go to Camp Dolphin while we dined at Blue Zoo...they enjoyed themselves and we had the most AMAZING dinner we have ever had!!! To top it all off...we got 2 hours of child care for free! The one thing my oldest did not like was that at 9 p.m. they had to lie down and watch a movie...he wanted to do more crafts or play games and I can't blame him! For that reason, he did not want to go to another club this year. If dh and I really wanted another night to ourselves we would have put them in Neverland but with the way the week went (time wise) we decided that Epcot was a better choice for that night!

Next year we are planning on sending them to clubs again for 1 or 2 nights and Neverland Club will be a MUST! My oldest will LOVE it there.

Thanks again!
