We had a great time at CSR from 5/30 to 6/7. It was my DH, Me and DDs 2 and 5. We were upgraded upon arrival to a pool view room as it was ready and we arrived at about 9:00 AM. We were able to put our luggage in our room and go right to MK. The girls got Disney Kids Magazines upon arrival and some stickers too.
We loved the Dig Site and both of my girls played on the water slide as well as the play ground. We also enjoyed lunch at the Pepper Market. We were in room 4327 of Casita 4 and were very close to the quiet pool and the laundry room. My only complaint is that the Quiet Pool was not quiet several nights that we were there, children were loudly playing in the pool until 11:30PM. It didn't seem to bother my DDs though as they were so tired from the parks. Mouse keeping placed my girls pjs and dolls on the bed each day and made a bunny out of the pjs one day. We received 3 towel animals, a dog, koala and turkey, that Mr. Maxi from housekeeping delivered personally to my DDs because they told him they liked the ones in the windows on the first floor. We had a great experience and will come back again.

On a side note, to save money, I had booked reservations for 5/29 and 6/7 at a hotel in Kissimee for $30 a night. The first night we did stay there, but were not impressed. Since we had been driving all day, I just washed the girls at the sink and put them to bed. The tub was very mildewy, so we didn't bathe. When we went back for the last night, we couldn't even stay there. The room was dirty and the tub was falling apart. We got a refund and drove to Daytona Beach to spend the night.
Next time, I'll save money by spending the first and last night at a Value Resort. At least we'll knoe it's Disney and will be clean.

Thanks for the great review. We are looking forward to staying at CSR in September!

Glad to hear you had a good time! CSR is fantastic, isn't it? :goodvibes

I'm jealous about the kid's magazines. We spent the first 8 days of our May trip at AKL and the last 2 at CSR, but my kids didn't get any. Bummer!! :) I'd never heard of the resorts doing this. I think it's a great idea.

Glad to hear your report. I can't wait to go back!

:cool1: thanks for the report. We will be taking our 3yr old there in Oct. How was the bus transporatation??

So glad to hear so many great reports about the CSR. We will be staying there for 6 nights in early Dec. and it will be our first time so we can't wait....:)

Now that's what I want to hear! I'm planning our first trip to WDW in Oct and have chosen CSR. Gotta love those good trip reports. :cool1:

I'm happy you had such a nice experience!!

I thought the bus transportation was quite good. We drove, but parked our car and only used it one day when we went to WalMart to buy more soda. The busses come at least every 20 minutes. Of course we usually just missed a bus to the park of our choice, but 20 minutes wasn't too long to wait. We were usually the first on and off the bus at Stop 2. We didn't stay to closing anywhere, so I don't know if the bus is ever really crowded, but we never had to stand. The bus drivers were very friendly and helpful too.

I find that the buses are quick and usually empty. Can't recall have to stand too many times.

Glad you had a great trip! We just returned from CSR too! CSR is now my favorite mod! I'm jealous....we stayed in the cabanas and didn't get any towel animals! :flower:

Did you enjoy your room location? How was the quite pool? We're staying there in July, I finally talked my DH into. We previously had ressies at Pop Century. Did you enjoy the Pepper Market? I'm a very picky eater and I'm afraid there won't be much I like there.

Sorry for so many questions. Glad you had a good time.

31 days and counting :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I'm so glad that you liked CSR and I can't wait to get there myself. Thanks for the review. :wave2:

Glad to hear your report, I've tried to stay at CSR three times and it's always booked when I want to go. I'll get there one of these times. Thanks for the report. :earsboy:

More and more guests are beginning to like CSR. Seems like it has been more difficult to get a room than in the past.
