CSR to MK - Timeframe

I know that CSR doesn't share their busses so I was wondering, how long does it take to get from CSR to MK?

I'd love to stay at Poly, but don't know if the extra $$ is worth putting it into the budget. I could use that money for something else...

I stayed at the CSR in 2002 and as I recall, it took about 10 to 15 minutes to get to MK from the resort. I'd say it's closer to 15 minutes. It may seem long, but it's not such a bad ride. It gave me a chance to see the rest of the "World" and daydream about where else I'd like to stay in the future.

You also have to factor in how long you wait for a bus. Generally speaking the CSR buses came about every 10-20 minutes. As for the driving time It depends entirely on traffic. I'd say between 10 and 15 minutes. It could easily take that long on the monorail if you were staying at the Polynesian. Sometimes the resort monorail stops for a few minutes between resorts prior to arriving at the MK. I got stuck on the resort monorail for a half hour once when there was a bad storm.

We just returned from CSR on June and those buses were prompt. At the most it was 12 minutes from the time we showed up till we were let off at MK. I know that you can't always count on that, but they ran so efficently while we were there!! One day we just arrived and a family decided to call and see what was taking so long for their bus. The lady ranted to the people on the phone and said, "we've been here 5 minutes waiting for the bus!!"
She had to get off the phone because her bus pulled up. I guess she thought that a bus should be WAITING for her when she arrived!!LOL
