CSR room questions

My DD14 has decided that she will go back to Disney with me. I was planning at staying at the CR but she said that since I talked her into going with me (I love the mouse) she should be able to choose the resort. I told her go ahead I don't care where I stay as long as we get to go.
She chose Coronado Springs. She loves the Southwest Mexican theme.
She likes the looks of the Cabanas and the Casitas. She doesn't like the Ranchos as much. Her 1st pick was the Casitas but we saw that some of the cabanas are more centrally located to everything.
My question would be which of the buildings in the Cabanas and the Casitas are NON-SMOKING?
Also are the Casitas really that far a walk to everything? We don't mind some walking but don't want to spend alot of time just getting to and from the restaurants and/or pool to our room.

We stayed at the csr this december. We are all typical Americans ( we could stand to loose 15 pounds each ) When my father made the reservations he said smoking and we were given cabanas 9a we decided we liked the look of the ranchos and asked if we could change. We got ranchos 7b. We did fine with the walking. My mother had open heart last july and she did fine. We never spent more than 5 minutes walking at one time. We think that people tend to strech the truth when they say it takes 15 minutes to walk from the ranchos to the pepper markert.

Cabana 9B is non-smoking. It is a good location, and a very popular room location request. I also stayed in Casitas 1. It was about a 6 minute walk to the Dig Site. Very convenient to El Centro. Be aware that the Casitas cater to convention guests. The only smoking building in the Cabanas is 9A. Overall I'd say any of the Cabanas are a terrific location. I would gladly stay in Casita 1 or any of The Cabanas again.

Thank you for your replies. It looks like I could try to request either Cabanas 9B or Casitas 1. A walk that 's about 6 minutes is not much. We can defintely handle that.
My DD really liked the looks of the Casitas the best when she saw the fountains and the colors of the buidlings.

I have stayed in the casitas and we had a wonderul time. We were never bothered by the conventions going on. We in buildiing 4 which was also non-smoking. The cabanas look nice as well. I hope you have a great time
