So

We recently stayed at AOA in a Nemo Suite. We loved it! Room was great, having two bathrooms was a plus, and pool was fantastic. I am planning a trip back... But the $400+ rate for a suite at AOA is turning me off. Considering a pirate room at CSR. For those that have done both, or those that have an opinion, do you think CSR will be enjoyed as much? We have two boys ages 7 and 3. I plan on a longer stay this time, so we can enjoy our resort more, and DH can play some golf... and we will have a car if that makes a difference.

CBR is nice but those pirate rooms are a very long haul from the food court/pool.

The pirate rooms are at CBR, not CSR, just so you know.

We stayed in one last year. The rooms are fun and my boys enjoyed it. I would not stay that far from the food court and pool again. It really made us not love CBR. I know lots of people say the rooms aren't that far from everything, but in our experience it was quite a trek to get to the food court. There are also 7 bus stops at the resort (I believe) so it took a while to get going to the parks.

If we were to stay at CBR again, which I highly doubt we will, I would stay in a preferred room closer to the middle of everything. JMO.

Of the mods, CBR is my least favorite and the walk to the pirate rooms is LONG! Why not consider POFQ or POR. You could do a Royal Room at POR - the headboards are a lot of fun! OR, for less than an AoA suite, you could stay Business Class at CSR with breakfast and other snacks available throughout the day. The business class rooms are close to the main building as well.

I've stayed at AoA and though the 2 bathrooms are nice, I much prefer the mods over AoA.
