Hi guys,
Ok I have had CSR booked for awhile and I love this resort I have stayed there before, however, after reading about WL and talking to my aunt who is a Disney Fanatic and has stayed everywhere she says that WL is her favorite out of all of them....so what do I do....I have a 2 yo DS and I do love CSR, however, after talking to her and reading so many posts about people who love WL, I am thinking of changing the ressie, we are going the first week of Oct. What do I do.....???? :confused3 :confused3

well i love WL
i have never stayed at CSR so i dont wanna say that csr is bad
the lobby and atmosphere are great i love the food
i love the boat to MK and i have had very nice times there

Change to WL. I've stayed at both and prefer WL. Everything is under 1 roof at WL. You'll have queen size beds instead of double. I do not think there is a lot of difference in the size of the rooms between the 2 resorts, so don't expect a gigantic room. It is a nice boat ride to MK, Contemporary or FW.

is which theme appeals to you the most? I've noticed several people here who love WL don't like CSR. WL has an incredible lobby, great Pacific-Northwest theming...which means the color schemes are somewhat dark. We find that restful after long days in the parks, but some find it too "un-Florida-like" for them. I haven't stayed at CSR, but I understand it's very colorful and has lots of sun---it will be a very different look at WL.
Our family loves WL (stayed there 3 of our 4 trips), but a week ago, we stayed at POR for the first time and we loved that, too! I did find myself saying that it was nice to see tropical plants while we were in Florida since we mainly saw pine trees at WL! If you haven't already, take a look at the resort photos on Deb Wills' site (www.allears.net) and see what you think.

I'm sure you'll be happy in either one!

I have never stayed at CSR so I can't compare the two, but love WL because it is restful and laid back. After spending the day in the sun, I find that is the atmosphere that I want to return to.

Try WL just this once. Any time we go to WDW we plan on staying at a different resort. There are so many great ones to choose from!

I originally booked the WL.

Then I realized that for the price of the WL I could book CSR and include the dining plan for my whole family.

I switched to the CSR for my trip in December. It should be fun to try a new resturant each night, and order anything on the menu without thinking about the cost. :drinking1

Just got back from the WL. Stayed at the CSR 18 months ago. The WL is a better hotel overall; however, it is a quicker ride to MGM and Epcot on the buses than WL and I don't remember sharing the bus with another hotel as you do with the WL buses. WL is pretty good for transportation to MK, but it shares a bus with the Grand Floridian for MGM and Epcot which made the trips to those 2 parks longer to get too. The WL has the Whispering Canyon cafe which is great. I wasn't too thrilled with the Pepper Market at the CSR. The food was fine; it was just not my style for dining. Hope this helps.
