CSR - a WOW upgrade!

I just returned on Monday from five days at WDW. I had a wonderful stay at CSR - When I arrived I mentioned my requests to the CM - she stated that a room was ready in Cabanas 8A - so far so good I thought - this was one of my requests. Imagine my surprise to find my room on the second floor had a beautiful view of the lake - I had only booked for a standard room at 113.00 per night so this was quite an upgrade. I really enjoyed this resort - I know the "size is a turnoff to some people, but I actually liked everything there. The staff were wonderful, and, in particular, the gentlemen who handled the luggage out front - what a charming and friendly group of guys. The lake at night is just beautiful. In fact, when I booked my PS the CM I had mentioned that CSR was her personal favorite for this reason. I know were conventions were there, but they had no impact on anything I wanted to do or wait times for dining etc. If you are not sure, request 8A - near the dive pool and close to a handy and not too crowded bus stop number 4 - maybe you will get lucky and have the same wonderful room I did!

So glad you had a great time and enjoyed the CSR so much! We are headed back for our second stay in June and we can't wait. It is such a pretty resort and the size just makes it that much better to me.....Bet you can't wait to go back!!

I have pictures on my website from that building. I've been lucky enough to get that building three times. Once we had a great room on the 2nd floor by the Dig Site over looking the pool. Once we had a corner room on the 2nd fl and once a waterview 1st fl room. Great location at a great resort. Glad you enjoyed it.
