I wish they would have wrapped up last week's case!!

Me too. As much as I enjoyed the randomness that was tonight's show, I'm interested in finding out about the hook from the end of last week. Wonder why they did it that way?

To keep us crazy and gripped!!

I was not too excited about tonight's episode..although, yes, very random!

To be honest, I'm not liking the new arty farty format. Let's just get back to the real deal, the one that made the show so popular.

I'm with you. The whole dead people in the morgue talking thing was stupid.

I agree. Did they get a new director or something? They could have done the dead people talking thing in a much creepier way, so I will say that I liked the way they did that part (in comparison to the alternative).

BUT, I wanted resolution from last week! I was hoping that they would at least mention something from last week at the end, but nope. And it doesn't look like they'll be addressing it next week, either! Bet they wait till the end of the dadgum season to bring it up again. :guilty:

I'm almost willing to bet that this was one of those cases where when they filmed everything before the season the episode they showed last night was NOT intended to be shown last night, and that there was a different episode that the producers/directors originally intended to be shown and the network probably changed it. They've done that with shows in the past that aren't strictly a week-to-week continuation of the same storyline. (It wouldn't work for a show like 24, for instance, but a show like CSI where each episode is more or less self-contained and only loosely connected to past or future shows.)

I may be in the minority here, but I thought last nights episode was an interesting change! At least this one didn't end on a cliffhanger!

I suspect that Danny Bonaduce case may linger on for the entire season. And they still haven't really addressed Grissom and Sara!

Another question... Did Sam die? They never really addressed whether he did or he didn't. Brass just expressed symphathy to Catharine but no one indicated whether he died or not? Did I miss something?

I'm with you. What'll do it for me is if I hear in the promo: "A very special episode ............... ". Then I know it's the beginning of the end.

Agree, DH and I were very disappointed in our favorite show and lost interest half way through :guilty: . Did I miss a follow up show or what - was Catherine's rape solved, swept under the rug or what?!?! :confused3

Catherine was never raped. The men who took Lindsay staged it too look like she was raped, so they could send the pictures to Sam.

It seemed to be in sequence, because of the scene where Brass was asking Catherine how she was holding up, because it was her 1st time in one of Sam's hotel since the shooting. I guess we are to assume Sam died, but then, I could tell he died last week.

Thx Marie, alrighty then, guess I didn't put that 2&2 together!

They have had other shows that ended without the case being solved, and we never see them again. I doubt that we ever find out anymore from the first episode.

And what is going on with Sara and Grissom?

Here's my theory: CSI is now up against Grey's Anatomy, right? So they put together an ongoing, to-be-continued thing to keep people tuning in to CSI instead of going over to Grey's Anatomy. I can't imagine there won't be resolution of the Danny Bonaduce story line.

Here's another issue I have: from the promo for next week, it looks as though Greg gets hurt. What is the deal with the cast getting hurt lately? Nick gets kidnapped and buried, Catherine gets drugged and kidnapped, Brass gets shot. Poor Greg already got blown up in the lab a few seasons back. It just seems odd that bad things seem to be happening to the team more frequently now than in the early seasons.

If the mix up thing is what happened, then this episode might have been intended to follow the one that would have resolved last weeks case. It still would have happened after Sam had been shot, and Catherine could have been avoiding Sam's hotels immediately following his being shot. It just seems like there's something missing between last week's and this week's.

If you remember correctly form the CSI thread from last week, I explained last weeks ending and told all of you it wouldn't be continued this week...and people tell me I never listen :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

 Another one in the minority. I really liked last nights episode as did my husband. I am also interested to see what they will do with Grissom and Sara.

DH fell asleep . . . But I really enjoyed last night's episode. I wish they would do things like that more often . . .it was really interesting seeing that. :thumbsup2
