CSE-- Pg. 74 SATAN'S HAMMER, Ch.18, pg.160 "Goodnight Sweetheart" epilogue

My daughter was born on the 21st. Not sure if that is good or bad, LOl.
To satisfy both kids, you might consider a hermaphrodite :)
PS I am putting faith in my remembering this term without consulting Mr. Google

Ah yes, the Buzz family newcomer isn't a baby.....it's a mollusk!! ;)

Yay, I'm glad there's a Marita connection to a November date! The range is somewhere between the 17th and 22nd, but I went over a week with both other kids, so all the dates listed are in the running. I would love to have a member of the family decide to be on time for once!! ;)

Hmm, ok, let's start with the genders,, if a son and a daughter were complete surprises,,, I gotta ask,,, are there other sexes that could have won?

Only you Nebo, only you would ask that question.....bless your heart! ;)

Yes, you definately have a busy November too,, let me rehash mine for a second, ok?
Di's sister is the 12th,,,well,,, i'm close if I'm not right, but it's the end of the month that got interesting:
My mom's brother is the 22nd,,, "Happy Birthday Uncle Sonny, should have stayed out of Dallas, John:"
Then my mom's was the 25th, mine the 26th,, and my folks anniversary the 27th.

Throw in Thanksgiving and I think we have them all.

Ok, ok,,,, I also married my second wife on November 7th, she's still much nicer than my first wife, I wish I had married her first and could have saved a lot of money on the divorce.

Goodness gracious, that is an impressive list of November dates there Nebo Rebo! I mean, I'm not sure lb(little buzz) can avoid the plethora of November dates you and I listed together. There aren't many individual dates left!

Oh,,, and if you had told me in the beginning that the term hermaphrodite was going to be used in this report,, I would never have,,,,,
Oh, who am I kidding,,,, NOTHING surprises me here!

Well, I think the surprise in this TR would be if there were no surprises. Let's face it, the folks in this thread....we are an eclectic bunch! ;)

OhyeahNeboImeanttoaddthatwehavehiddencupsaswell.

By the way(phew, much better!) we are traveling the tried and true route for us....speedway 95!! What day are you and Smidgy arriving in Disney? I can't remember!!!

Nope - they never covered that in Chem lab. So much for PRACTICAL chemistry...

So I cheated and looked it up online (wikipedia is the all knowing God!) Apparently most commercial helium comes from fractional distillation of Natural Gas - who knew?

And for my cheroot I'd prefer a fine Cohiba Robusto. Haven't had one in years, but if I'm going to break down it had better be worth it!

Let me get this straight. You want me to buy you a $35 cigar... for googling the answer? I don't think so!

Now drill for some Helium and we'll talk.

Don't you have a TR to write?

Buy a fan!

Or a laptop, a router, or DRIVE to the library, they have computers and air conditioning!

Note to self: Dont piss off monymony.

Uh oh, quick, here, drink this Kool_aid and wash it down!

Phew! Thanks! Thought I was a goner. Ahhhh, that's bett... urk. gack.

GOOD BYE, CRUEL WORLD!!

By the way, just an FYI,,, it wasn't Kool Aid that Jim Jones gave them to drink that killed them all, but a Chicago product named Flavor-Aid,, a Kool-Aid ripoff.

Well of course it's from Chi-town. Look what you just did to me!

Cool, I haven't felt like Cliff Clavin in a while.
Speaking of him,,, we just went and saw Brave,,, at the end the crdits said Cliffy played the part of Gordon,,,, "who the heck was Gordon?"

Gordon? I don't remember no Gordon. Good movie though. I really enjoyed it. Although I thought it lost some steam about halfway through.

maybeyoureaderscouldsaveyousometimebyleavingoutspacesandpunctiontoothatwouldspeedeverythingup

Or maybe just use acronyms? Nebo, goto ATM B4 EOD to buy AC, ASAP, OK?

Oh great. Now we have to change the saying to "So and so's drinking the Flavor-Aid" and then the person we say it to will try to correct us and WE'LL have to go all Cliff Clavin and set them straight.

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

Nope, that is pkondzi's job, he's quick at recall remember!

Right,,, "Excuse me,, where's the fridge? My manhattans have to be cold and I'm going to be here a while,,, like the next 4 hours,, you DO have a designated driver ready at all times to take people home after they have imbibed too much at the library, correct?
You can walk, duh! Take a thermos or a fuzzy cup and while on the walk take an auxillary sippin' cup as long as you don't fall on the way.

Ok, ok,,,, I also married my second wife on November 7th, she's still much nicer than my first wife, I wish I had married her first and could have saved a lot of money on the divorce.

Depends on how you look at it. If you are a glass half-full kind of guy, you could think of the divorce cost as a deposit against future savings from renting his DVC points.

Of course if you are a glass half-empty kind of guy, then you are still paying for it since he is empowering your addiction to Disney. :confused3

Let me get this straight. You want me to buy you a $35 cigar... for googling the answer? I don't think so!

No the $35 cigar was for the answer to the stuff I didn't have to look up. And my Cohibas only cost $3 from my "special connection" on the beach in a certain US embargoed country. Of course if you add airfare and accommodation, divided by the number of cigars in a box, those are probably worth about $15,265,544 of Laura's Disnified Dollars (LDD for short) - each! No wonder Gov. Schwarzenegger is the only guy who can afford em!

I was visiting my daughter not too long ago and we were listening to my $5.00 Three Dog Night Greatest Hits CD (bought after your one dog night update) and started telling her your One Dog Night story ........

Me: "There's this guy Nebo from the DIS boards, have I ever told you about him?"

Her: "You mean the guy that married his wife twice?"

Me: :thumbsup2 "Yeah, that Nebo" ::yes::

I think I might talk about my "internet" friends too much  She did enjoy your one dog night story ;)

At our house when I mention Nebo Lance and dd Megan ask, " isn;t that they guy who falls alot?:)

Ok now waiting for the next chapter.......

Sorry,, I could NOT think of a title for this chapter.
That oughta tick a lot of people off when they find out I lied,, that's the kind of thing folks like to read about, along with the first time your hubby gets arrested.

Hmm, where the heck was I?
What trip was this, where were we staying?
Nowhere, is the answer to where were we staying.
Cool huh? Did you just see that? I started with Nowhere, and progressively just kept dropping letters from that word to end up with "we".
Oy vey it's going to be a long night.

Tuesday morning I got up early to test out my back.
It hurt, but it wasn't crippling, but decided to stick to plan B anyway,,, no water park, Magic Kingdom instead.

Besides, Tuesdays are the least crowded day at MK.

Ahem,:sad2:

According to park hours a month ago,, Wishes was at closing, which was nine o'clock, and no parade at all.
A couple of weeks ago, they added a nightime parade and pushe Wishes and closing back to ten.

I get the feeling that Epcot attendance is really dropping with Test Track being closed, and Tuesdays were always big Epcot days.

But what is killing us now, is 10 years of learning the best ways to use the fastpass system are now down the drain, and I'm too old and feeble to go back to crisscrossing and running all over the parks to make a fastpass time.
If you may remember the time I really blasted an older, smaller, Japanese man into a wall near Splash Mountain trying to get over to make our BTMR Fastpass time before the window closed. No, those are "good" times I don't want to relive, I really thought I hurt him.

Luckilly, we've done it all, so we'll really just play it by ear right now.

We each grabbed a peanut cluster breakfast bar, twice I went to the safe and opened it up and looked at the vike bottle,, then closed it anyway. When you take them just to feel a little bit better, thats when something bad happens and you end up really needing them. Not like something like that could happen to me, right? Fine!

Got to the MK about 25 minutes early and took up a spot near the front to watch the welcome show.

On at least 2 other occasions "ve tried to video this show,, but the sunlight is so bright I can't read the back display to see if it's taping or not, which is why the first thing you are going to see are my shoes:
I had to bend over and cover up all the light best I could when I started it to see the lights on the dispaly say I was actually taping.

Ok boys and girls,, you knwo the routine, turn up the speakers and let your mind wander. And no, if you close your eyes, that's not Debbie, Donald and Gene ou are listening to

With that they let us in, and we headed right away to ,,,,,,,,,
Yes,, that's right,, the Main St. Bakery!

We have never, ever done something this stupid before,,,but the dining plan is already kicking our butts,, and I saw a litst of all these incredible treats that qualify as snack credits and oh was it good.
Oh, was it good.

Oh, was it good.

Well, was it?

It was so good,,, ,
I can't tell you what it was I got!

I remember just pointing at something under a glass and drooling in it 's general direction and that's what they gave me. No, Diane did her own drooling,,, I mean selecting.
I'll have to ask her and see if she knows anything.

Smidgy said I had some kind of eclaire,,, and i was a little let down by it she said. I wish I had been there so I could have given you MY opinion of it.

But she also has a hard time remembering what SHE had.
Bottom line,,,, I think, the breakfast snacks were ok, just not something to go out of your way for.

I remember trying to finish up eating as quickly as I could cuz this still felt just wrong,, as everybody else is charging for the rides.
But right next door in a connecting room is a glass blown art shop.

This is the kind oof place that scares the hell out of me, but it's kind of like skydiving,,, just going inside,,, well, the danger really intigues me.

"Must not bump into anything"
"Must not bump into ,,,, "

The cool centerpiece was a glass blown craft of the Cinderella Castle.
It was just HUGE,,, and could have been mine for,,,,
I'm trying to remember,,, but I think the price was
35,000! dollars.

And all it would have taken to make it mine is just one,
little,
stumble.
Or incorrect incident of depth perception judgement,

or a sudden sneeze.

By now Smidgy joined me.

Then I fly landed on top of the castle;

I pointed it out to Smidgy,, it was just sitting there, on the top of the castle;

I started rolling up my park map and times guide:

And Smidgy screamed!

The fly took off.
Oh well, get him next time.
:lmao:

We then did the basics,,, Buzz,,, yeah,, she won, so what else is new,,,the Raceway,,,, I know, I know,,, but it's now tradition,,,, it's so much fun to watch her face as she tries so hard to keep the unsteerable car straight.

Remember that time I took a picture of our car,, and at the end of the ride I took a picture of the "standings" tower to show our position, and our car,,, I think number 6? was in dead last place?
Well after this trip our car wasn't even listed on the "tower" .
I was bummed.

Pooh was next,, then we walked around all the construction walls to just look around,, boy,, it's going to be a HUGE land in there when it's all finished, but it's the Mine ride that intrigues me the most. But I think they are only adding a rivit a day there,, not supposed to be ready until the end of NEXT year. There will also be a Little Mermaid ride,, but I saw a YOu tube of it at Disneyland, and it doesn't seem like anything special to me.

Rivit.

Rivit.

"No, Little Mermaid I said, not Princess and the Frog."

Rivit.

Then it was over to Splash for a ride,,, 15 minute wait, so far haven't used a fastpass yet.

My motto has always been twenty minutes tops, if a wait is longer than 20, get the fastpass.
Our longes wait ever, was in '94 with the kids, before fastpasses, and in JUne the park was packed and we waited 55 minutes exactly to ride Splash,,, I was using the cool, new, stopwatch feature on my new Timex.

Man, what a great watch it was back then:
Dustproof, scratchproof, anti-magnet proof, rustproof, tarnishproof, water-resistant and water proof to 100 fathoms,, virtually indestructable!

I lost it

But even today,,, I'm still wearing the almost exact same thing,, this one is about 12 years old, but it never comes off.

Allright,,, you know where we are,, BTMR may be closed for refoib, but the DSA across from it isn't,,,, so once again,
The spring, 2012 virgin:

I mean,,, the spring, 2012 VERSION;

100_1832.jpg

and of course,,, your's truly:

(now, Laura and Ponzi are already looking at that line and thinking,, hmm,, yours Fooly? no,, yours, unruly? no, Yours, Cooly? Heavens, no. )

100_1830.jpg

Oh,,, one thing I noticed on Splash,,, as hot as it was, they had turned off the water canons that shoot off into the boats going into the mountain just as a boat comes down the shoot.
(Now, if they can only figure out how to turn off Nick Canon for the next Christmas Parade Special)
I'ts suppposed to look like the other boat splashed you, but no, it's times water canons that do it, the boats themselves really don't make much of a splash on their own, Disney really prefers to control everything they can.
But I hunched all down when the boat came down and we weren't going to get inside in time to miss it,,, and,,,,

Nuttin'- not a little bitty squirt, Kurt.

Nothing,,, not even a little bitty "spritz", Fritz.

((HELP, please stop me,, if I do one more I'm going to be doing it until the sun comes up tomorrow.))

Right after the pics in the rocking chairs it started to drizzle a bit, so we headed on over to Columbia Harbour House for an early lunch.

Or a late breakfast.

Once again,, I got the fish basket with fries, milk, and CHOCOLATE CAKE,
she got a shrimlp basket, with , ahem,,, no, not fries,,, no, not baked potato or mashed or anything normal you may be able to conjure up in your head,,,,quick! What's the first thing that pops into your mind when you think of a shrimp basket, and what "side dish" you might want to see inside that basket?

, she got a side
of broccoli!

I moved to another table.
And sat with some Brazillian soccer playing Pop Warner Tour Groups instead.

They were closer to being "My kind of people" as the saying goes.

You know what broccoli is?
It's green!

Now, I love the color green.
But when it comes to food, the only thing green that tastes ok, is iceberg lettuce and peas,,,, early, sweet peas to be specific,,, the rule with peas is, are?, the darker the green,, the less you wantem. I take it back,,, there's a third thing green that's also edible;
relish.
but that's it.

Even the word isn't cool,, looks and sounds a lot like Botulism,, and look at the last four letters of broccoli,, thank you, I rest my case.

Now, I am sorry to say that my fish basket has taken a turn for the worse at CHH. The three fish fillets have kind of turned into misshapen long fish sticks,,,,and definately needed artificial flavoring, still had plenty of flies though.

Fries, plenty of fries.

Howevfer:
should you ever want to split a meal,, the shrimp basket is definately the way to go.

You CAN get fries instead of flies OR broccoli, or B-Coli, a cup of cole slaw comes with it but also the main course in her case was 9 jumbo fried shrimp! Plenty for your normal two people party.

Where I think the Chicken Dinner meal at Prime Time is the all time BEST table service meal to split with a partner, the shrimp basket here at CHH is the best counter service meal to split also.

If you get fries with it

Neither one of us finished our meals, and I even helped with hers. (no, not the broccoli, by the way,, she said it was awful,,,, I could have told her that.

It was now time for us to take off back to the resort,, one more picture though,,, at least this girl was willing to take it, but she was the one that just had to turn th camera sideways,,, so we'll see how this turns out.

Untitled.jpg

We are soon back at our CS eternal, after a quick change, no way in he,,, the world do we want to deal with buzzing insects today, and somehow she ended up faster than me today changeing, and I told her I'd meet her at the Rancho quiet pool.

I was hoping to get some serious reading done and put a hurt on the Capitol today, but on the way to the quiet pool,
well,,, I messed up.
I sashayed when I should have swayed;
I swizzled when I should have twizzled;

anyway,, I got messed up directionally and when I realized I blew it,, I ended up trying to mentally justify it with taking more pictures.

100_1809-3.jpg

100_1838.jpg

100_1839.jpg

Had a nice couple hours at the pool.
I was able to help out Katniss a couple times,, and a couple times she didn't want my help.
But the sun was draining us, and I was wishing my book was waterproof.

Or shockproof

Or anti :clown:

Around 3 I am once again trudging to the ice machine, and back.

I wonder how many times I did that trip while we were there.

All dressed, with Sunny D's made up and in the fridge, I didn't want to rush back there just yet to the MLK.

MK.
Ok, what was that? Freudian slip? Got MLK?

Anyway,, we took a walk throught the Cabana section down to where we stayed back in '07, or,,, "Still Feeding Nebo".

We were in building 9-A,, in room 9111,,, a fake corner room right, RIGHT next to the pool. Fake because it was a corner on the "cut-through", meaning,, a hallway, so no extra window,, but it was a great room, locatiion wise.

I complained in the past about it because it seemed way, way, too much like staying at a Motel 6,,, even though we had a total pool view,, our car was right behind the building,, didn't need bell service at all. It was actually SO convenient,,,,

it didn't feel like Disney anymore!:rotfl2:

But we took a couple drinks down to there and sat a the same table we did a lot on that trip and just talked.

The main thing we ended up talking about, was that trip in '07, and how weired everything was back then with losing our jobs that year,,, and strangelely,, yes,, how much FUN it was, TOO!

While we were talking, I brought up how I even had fun doing the trip report,, especially when that trip started out at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal.

And I reminded her on how LOUD that speaker was right behind our chairs, and, well,,, I just had to do it, I could NOT resist just now....................

nobody was sitting too close to us,,, the pool at least on our side was mostly empty,,,,,

I had to , just HAD to, try to imitate the very beginning notes to "Kung Foo Fighting"!

It's really not that easy to do,, a kind of "background type of sound without real words,,,, " Oh- o - o- OHHHH, Oh-o-o-ohhh,"

Well, as I"m warbling out these strange 8 notes, a guy walks into the pool deck area from behind me, right past our table in a kind of hurry.

I was already turning red but he kept walking.
Then he stopped.

Turning around briefly, he looked at us and said,
"Kung Foo Fighting" , turned back around and was back on his way.

I felt like an idiot,,, however,,, Diane had just started to say something like, "I have no idea what your are TRYING to do,," when he did the "vouchsafe" thing for me.

hah,,, He didn't have any problem figureing it out,, and he wasn't even THERE in '07!

Back in the room we finished packing for the trip.

MK you have to be a tad more careful with,,, got Sunny D's,,, once again,,, those same little bottles with the comples are going back with us,,, and yes,,, when the door closed for good,, got the same "sipper' plastic cups with us too for the bus wait.

I 'd invite you to join us on our trip back to the MK,, but I"m afraid I can't,,,it's Tuesday, remember? The deadest day of the week at MK.

It was SRO on the bus!

OK, I'm a little freaked out - this is the second time in a row I'm the first responder to a Nebo post (no, I didn't bring the ambulance with me). Were they the bug-germ plastic sipper cups? :crazy2:

Have to say it. Sweet the you and she found the place and sat for a chat. Seriously romantic (I mean that). There is something about chatting with your sweetie. Kids don't appreciate the fine art of conversation(which is not the same as texting). You are "as fast as lightening".:cool1:

Tinkyellow and I watched the opening show from the far right, to be closer to Space Mountain when they finally opened the gates. I didn't think that they did the opening show for the morning EMH at MK. I really wanted to be in the park, why are they putting in another roadblock to my getting into the park???

Nice video, by the way. :thumbsup2

Finally an update !!! 8 days between .....geez !!! More Nebo, less waiting :thumbsup2

PS ..... I would have taken one of the vikes ........

:happytv:love the video of the opening at MK. Man I sure miss that place.
Thanks for the info on the shrimp basket. If we get to go back there we will have to try it. We have split CS at Cosmic Rays and that was fine for us. We also like to split CS at Epcot now and then. A good way to try new foods in the various countries.
Hopefully Lance will get a clean bill of health after his surgery at the end of this month and we can plan for January while on winter break from work (we can't call it Christmas Vacation anymore out here in Cali. Just not C enough)
very nice pic in front of the castle. I think it came out great.
:mic:thanks for the kung foo fighting song that has now replaced secret ponzi man in my head.

Great update Nebo!

I'm not sure I understood what you were trying to convey though. Are you trying to tell us that you don't like broccoli?

Sounds like a nice afternoon at CSR. I think it's great that you started singing, I would have joined in if I'd been walking by. But, then again I know the story.

:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

Sorry,, I could NOT think of a title for this chapter.
That oughta tick a lot of people off when they find out I lied,, that's the kind of thing folks like to read about, along with the first time your hubby gets arrested.

I read that one too, was glued to it, loved it to pieces!

I am making myself nuts with the crowd calendars for next months trip. I haven't found two that are alike. I do know since we are not staying on property that we will stay away from parks with EMH. Otherwise it will be a toin coss.

If you may remember the time I really blasted an older, smaller, Japanese man into a wall near Splash Mountain trying to get over to make our BTMR Fastpass time before the window closed. No, those are "good" times I don't want to relive, I really thought I hurt him.

That and a child with an elbow to the nose?

Man, what a great watch it was back then:
Dustproof, scratchproof, anti-magnet proof, rustproof, tarnishproof, water-resistant and water proof to 100 fathoms,, virtually indestructable!

Advanced technololgy for its time and YOU owned one?

Nuttin'- not a little bitty squirt, Kurt.

Nothing,,, not even a little bitty "spritz", Fritz.

Or a big spray May? Nor a good splash, Dash?

((HELP, please stop me,, if I do one more I'm going to be doing it until the sun comes up tomorrow.))

Great now I'm singing Annie!

Now, I love the color green.

Speaking of green, have you read Mirage's TR lately?:crazy2:

Nebo in the blown glass store??:scared::scared:

Isn't that just tempting fate....or Murphey, the maker of laws?

Just picturing the damage you could do in there is hilarious...:scared:

Sorry,, I could NOT think of a title for this chapter.
That oughta tick a lot of people off when they find out I lied,, that's the kind of thing folks like to read about, along with the first time your hubby gets arrested.

Yes, you definitely get some traffic when your husband gets arrested. Wonder if Riglee will ever come back to the DIS.

Hmm, where the heck was I?
Nowhere, is the answer to where were we staying.
Cool huh? Did you just see that? I started with Nowhere, and progressively just kept dropping letters from that word to end up with "we".

Or if you want to sound like Yoda.

But right next door in a connecting room is a glass blown art shop.

Uh oh.

Then I fly landed on top of the castle;

I read this about five times and kept picturing you crouched on top of the castle.

I pointed it out to Smidgy,, it was just sitting there, on the top of the castle;

I started rolling up my park map and times guide:

And then doh!

There will also be a Little Mermaid ride,, but I saw a YOu tube of it at Disneyland, and it doesn't seem like anything special to me.

Something new anyway.

My motto has always been twenty minutes tops, if a wait is longer than 20, get the fastpass.

Mine too. Although we did make an exception with Soarin a couple years ago because there was no other way we would ride it that trip. We waited about 45 minutes but the interactive games helped pass the time.

Man, what a great watch it was back then:
Dustproof, scratchproof, anti-magnet proof, rustproof, tarnishproof, water-resistant and water proof to 100 fathoms,, virtually indestructable!

I lost it

Not Nebo-proof though.

and of course,,, your's truly:

(now, Laura and Ponzi are already looking at that line and thinking,, hmm,, yours Fooly? no,, yours, unruly? no, Yours, Cooly? Heavens, no. )

Now, you're making me go through the alphabet trying to think of something better. Booly, Duly, Newly, Wooly, Zooly... Nope.

Mint chocolate chip ice cream?

Even the word isn't cool,, looks and sounds a lot like Botulism,, and look at the last four letters of broccoli,, thank you, I rest my case.

I'm starting to lose hope that my daughter will eat her vegetables when she grows up.

should you ever want to split a meal,, the shrimp basket is definately the way to go.

Good to know.

It was now time for us to take off back to the resort,, one more picture though,,, at least this girl was willing to take it, but she was the one that just had to turn th camera sideways,,, so we'll see how this turns out.

Nice photo!

We are soon back at our CS eternal, after a quick change, no way in he,,, the world do we want to deal with buzzing insects today, and somehow she ended up faster than me today changeing, and I told her I'd meet her at the Rancho quiet pool.

That's a nice pool. We stayed there a couple years ago.

I swizzled when I should have twizzled;

Twirled when you should have whirled?

But we took a couple drinks down to there and sat a the same table we did a lot on that trip and just talked.

Aw. That's sweet.

The main thing we ended up talking about, was that trip in '07, and how weired everything was back then with losing our jobs that year,

Happened to me in '07 too. Right after a trip to Disney. Luckily, I found something before my severance ran out...with a direct competitor. Revenge is sweet. My old magazine folded a couple years later.

Turning around briefly, he looked at us and said,
"Kung Foo Fighting" , turned back around and was back on his way.

:rotfl2:

Back in the room we finished packing for the trip.

I love how you have to pack for a trip to MK.

MK you have to be a tad more careful with,,, got Sunny D's,,, once again,,, those same little bottles with the comples are going back with us,,, and yes,,, when the door closed for good,, got the same "sipper' plastic cups with us too for the bus wait.

The sippers are back!

Great chapter as usual Nebo! You guys look so happy in the photos.

Great chapter!

I have to admit that I was soooooo rooting for you to crash into something at the blown glass store. Not the $35,000 castle but something a bit smaller. I was picturing the scene in Borat when he crashes into everything at the antique store.

My daughter gets broccoli with everything. Chicken, steak, cheesburgers....... I don't know where she gets all that healthy eating from!!

What about....

"Not a sprinkle, Rip Van Winkle!"

Sorry, I couldn't resist!!

All I really have to say is 2 new chapters and all has gone well. No falling over, no blood and guts, no crashing into expensive castles. Nothing. Come on Nebo, work with me here. Where's all the gore, the action, the tossing of yellow jackets into the water moccasin infested pool, beating granny to a pulp cuz she cut you off with her motor scooter. :confused3 I need material to finish Mr. Vicodin Guy. I don't know how I can work broccoli and one dog night into the song. :rotfl:

Of course you know I'm just kidding right? RIGHT?! I'm sure I can find a way to add the sipper in. Great job as always.:thumbsup2

Nebo, have you ever seen the movie "The Grifters" with John Cusack and Angelica Huston? No spoilers here, but let's just say it comes to a tragic end. All I'm saying is, please stay out of the glass store. :scared:

We've been on the Little Mermaid ride, and I really love it. It has great under water special effects, and they really put some effort into making the animatronics lifelike, not cheesy. I was talking to a CM, and they've already changed Ariel's hair-do 3 times to make it more lifelike.

Thanks for sharing the MK opening show. I just know I'll be the type to stand there saying, "Enough with the music, just open the gosh darn gates!"

As for the water cannons on Splash Mountain, I have a confession to make. (Bless me Fr. Nebo, for I have sinned). When our DD was little, she was relatively fearless. She watched the logs coming down the mountain at DL and said she wanted to go on. Where the water splashes up, it looks like the log disappears under water. I told her she could go on if she could hold her breath when the log did the submarine dive. I thought she knew I was just kidding, but the poor thing actually held her breath when we went downhill. Lucky she didn't pass out. Let's just say that's another round of therapy we paid for to help her get over her childhood traumas. :scratchin <"Tell me how this made you feel."

Love the "vouchsafe" on Kung Foo Fighting!
