CS hours??

When should one expect counter service restaurants to close in the MK in January?? I see that the time "varies" but I am not sure what to plan for. Right now the particular night in question is an EMH night.

Closing times vary because the park closing times vary. Usually the CS restaurants continue to serve up to park closing times, or a few minutes before. Many of the CS places will be closed during EMH. If you are looking for a place to eat dinner, I'd recommend eating before EMH starts.

OK that's about what I figured. We're eating a TS lunch in EPCOT and then hopping to MK in the late afternoon/early evening - say 4 or 5? As long as we can grab a quick bite around then we are good.

As a side note - did the CS restaurants used to close earlier in the day? I seem to remember in the early 2000s (maybe pre DDP?) that we had a hard time finding a CS meal after 3ish.

From my experience they usually keep Cosmic Ray's & Pecos Bill's open for EMH dining. I think Casey's stays open too but I don't ever eat there. The Mexican place across from Pirates that recently changed names is rarely ever open at all when I am there. They seemed to be open during my last trip just for lunch time. Columbia Harbor House is one that usually closes early. And Pinocchio Village house may also close early. Most of the smaller places like the ones that serve the Turkey legs don't stay open late.
