if they pool the CS does it matter if I order them an adult meal while in line, or do they pull out the you have 6 kids meals left. My 2 are good for salads and all that more so than the chicken fingers or mac and cheese all week for lunch.

:confused3

There is a listing of these places in the sticky about the DDP. There is at least one that offers a pizza & salad ***bo meal , italian sub, hot dogs or fish and chips. It is still CS, but at least its not mac & cheese or PB & J again.

CU in chat!

They do not know whether you have kid or adult CS credits. Even though you are not supposed to, you can order an adult CS meal for a child. There were 3 of us, 2 adults, 1 child and there were times we just ordered 2 adult meals and all shared them. To answer your question, we could have ordered 3 adult meals at the CS places.

It is up to CM to enforce the policy. If your card says 2 A 1C, then do not be surprised if the CM will not allow 3A CS for purchase.

Under the DDP, you are entitled to CS that equivalent to the type of DDP you purchased - ie adult gets adult CS, child gets child CS.

Hope that helps,

We have gotten adult meals for DS at Caseys in MK and Planet Pizza in MGM.
Neither one offered a kids menu.

Another option is to share your adult CS meal and use the kids meal for breakfast. The portions in the CS meals are large.
We have shared the chicken and rib combo at Cosmic Rays in MK.
You can also order a double burger meal at many places and pay OOP for an extra bun.

Many of EPCOT's WS CS places offer different options for kids meals.
Check allearsnet.com for menus.

Have a GREAT trip!!!:goodvibes

Yes we watch this happen several times to guest in line in front of us. We were at Colombia HH and the dad wanted to get 3 adult meals and the CM asked to see the card. She saw 2A1C and told them that they could not exceed the 2A meals during the order. We watched this happen several other times. Our last trip was last month. I think some of the CS meals at the food courts are some of the best choices and large enough to share.

I just copied this from another thread (courtesy of septbaby) a few minutes ago and thought I'd pass it on.

"From the DDP Sticky page:

I understand that where there is no child menu, children can order off the regular menu. Which CS locations do not have a separate child menu?
• Catalina Eddie
• Taluca Turkey Legs
• Cool Wash Pizza
• Casey's
• Pete's Doggone Good dogs
• Toy Story Pizza Planet
• Sommerfest
• Yorkshire County Fish Shop"

Columbia HH does have a kids menu though. So in that case, yes, the CM was in the right to not let him order 3 adult meals at once. The only time that won't/shouldn't happen, is if the place doesn't have a kid's menu.

I'm pretty sure, though not 100% sure, that Disney computers do differentiate between children's and adult's credits now. Getting back in line and ordering an extra adult entree will only leave you with an abundance of children's credits near the end of your vacation.

Try Seasons CS at The Land at Epcot - some variety in kids meals there.

We're also going to be doing some sharing of the adult meals at CS - just use a snack credit to get an extra side and usually there's plenty of food.

This could be really confusing for us. Our trip last year we had two rooms with a total of four adults and three children between the two of them. My DD and I went to order from the food court to take back to the room and than DH was going to bring back two of the kids for his and theirs. Well I rang DS (14) and adult through on my room key and DD rang hers and my Mom's through with her room key. Well the person at the counter accused me of trying to order extra adult meals with her as she gets a child meal and I had already ordered my two adults. He didn't even look at the card to see that they were two different rooms.

Ok I did not want to start a new thread.

Do kids ever get a choice of dessert. I understand if a cookie(or other) comes with the kids meal they do not. But take seasons at the land, the kids sub sandwich comes only with a drink so can that child then order a full dessert?

How about table service restaurants?
