Are child and adult CS credits tracked separately?

My DD doesn't each much, and I figure we could happily share a CS meal, saving a CS credit to use another time, like breakfast maybe.

They are not seperated. You just can't order more adult meals than you have # of Adults on your key card at one time. We did this several times.

We just got back. All of the CS were pooled together. We let dd order adult meals at two places where she wanted something that the children were not offered. We ordered for grandma and dd and then went back for DH and I to get our meals and had no problem.

I thought this too but we just got back last night and one night the waiter collected our cards (there were 3 parties) and my sister wasn't paying attention and didn't give him her card. They took her TS out of our card (it was just me, DH and DD5). On our last TS on Saturday, they charged her card for both her and one of us. Maybe it's different with CS?:confused3

Disney very tightly controls TS, because it represents so much more money. They're not going to end up providing more adult TS meals, because when the adult TS balance reaches 0 they won't provide more adult meals. With CS, since much less money is involved, the separation between adult and child is on the honor system.

Here is the relevant rule... as you'll note, there is no difference between TS and CS in the rule. The difference is only in how it is enforced, either explicitly by the POS systems (TS) or informally on the honor system and with some minor policing by CMs (CS).

At Pepper Market at CSR, there's more interaction with CMs so they know how many adults and how many kids are ordering CS. We would order kids' meals for the kids. But my daughter wanted bacon and sausage, which doesn't come on the kids' meals there. So I just traded most of my meal for her Mickey waffle. Technically I suppose even this is not allowed: I'm eating a kids' meal under the DDP, and my 8 year old daughter is eating an adult meal.

As long as the stuff on the table matches the people on the table, who eats what doesn't matter.

That's good to know. My daughter's fondness for breakfast meat won't get us banished from DisneyWorld after all.
