We are making as weekend trip for the P&PP this Saturday (yay!), and we only have tickets for the party. However, we will be arriving early Friday and are planning on spending the day resort hopping and at DTD. We're staying at POP, so we'll probably get dinner or lunch there, but I don't necessarily want to eat both meals there. Can anyone suggest a different resort that has CS meals we could maybe try? Preferably something that is fairly easy to get to. We don't really want to spend $20 each on the sit down restaurants. This is the first time I've stayed on-site, so I don't even know if the other resorts, except the values, have CS stuff. Thanks!

I would go to EoS for lunch and POP for dinner. We ate lunch at Roaring Forks at WL and Capt Cooks at Poly and we were not impressed with either place.

I agree that on the Friday at Downtown Disney you should try the Earl of Sandwich. Now the next day before you arrive at the Magic Kingdom for the P&PP, you should either try Captin Cook's at the Polynesian or Gasparilla's Grill & Games at the Grand Floridian. Both have have a good selection of food and once your finished at either location, you can take the Monorail right to the Magic Kingdom. Anyway here are their menus so you can see what they have.

Thank you so much! Those suggestions look right up our alley. I was looking at menus on allears.net and must have passed right over Earl of Sandwich. I think we will definitely be eating lunch there.

You may want to consider a TS place, Trails End buffet at Ft. Wilderness. Its reasonable and all you can eat. So maybe a late breakfast there carries you through to dinner.

Also Chip 'n Dale host a sing along and movie night around a campfire after dusk; maybe something to do Friday night.

ADRs would be useful for that meal(breakfast, lunch or dinner if offered).

We plan to arrive a day before our DP starts so TEB may be an option for us too.
