CS at DHS - please recommend

I know, I know. But the fact is, we will be there potentially twice to eat CS. (once in the evening before Fantasmic, once for lunch). Any recommendations? I have checked the menus and nothing seems to be jumping out at me.

Baclot is not too bad - but not really good either. We just don't eat there much anymore.

For the lunch meal, Starring Rolls is quite good!
For dinner, if I'm still at DHS, I generally go to Mama Melrose and have flatbread (or other appetizers); I'll call for a reservation the same day if I know I'll be there, and unless it's a very busy time of year, I'll generally get one.
I just don't like the other CS places inj DHS.

I've only eaten at Pizza Planet and Backlot. Neither was good, but I don't ever go in expecting anything good, so I'm never disappointed!!!!

Nothing does stand out at DHS, it's food, usually warm, nothing to write home about. We usually leave the park and go to the Boardwalk or a resort CS and then back to the park. This year, we'll eat a decent breakfast, head to the Boardwalk area for lunch and wait till after we leave the park at night to get something to eat.

Even though it does not seem to be popular on here, my family and I enjoy going to the ABC Commissary and we have never had a bad meal there.

DHS lacks decent food. Period. I still think they ought to make a Star Wars themed restaurant. With characters to boot!

I would recommend Starring Rolls or grabbing a hot dog or burger somewhere on Sunset Blvd. How badly can they mess that up?!

We liked the sandwiches at Starring Rolls. Eat at Backlot Express and did not care for it at all.

Ahh, one of life's great challenges... finding a decent CS restaurant at DHS. I have been a member of these boards for a few years now and have read many informative posts, but I have yet to see an answer to this question that I can really agree with.

You would think that with all of Disney's resources they could give us 2 or 3 really good CS restaurants at DHS.

This is usually where we eat too. The lesser of the evils. Haven't found a good restaurant at this park. Good luck!!

Pizza Planet is probably our favorite. The dessert is great at Starring Rolls, but the sandwiches are just okay at best. I will never eat at the Commissary again. I've also eaten at the Backlot and it is just okay too.

Sorry nothing much encouraging to say about CS at DHS.
