I just got a 8:15 ADR for Crystal Palace and now have a few questions. Do you think we will be done by 9am to make it to Dumbo? (even though our ressie is for 8:15, I hope to be entering the park at 8am as soon as they will let us into the park, in hopes they may seat us earlier)

Also, we are staying at the BW. Will the busses be running early enough to get us to the MK for 8am or should we plan to get a taxi?

Yes!

We ate there 2 weeks ago. ADR was 8:10. We were at the castle rope drop at 8:55. My DH & DD went straight to Dumbo ~ they were 2nd in line. Must say though it takes them about 10 minutes to get the dumb(o) ride going in the morning ~ what's up with that???

I headed over to Peter Pan to get FP's. Then we all went to ride the Indy Cars and got that done with only a 10 minute wait, ran over to Buzz and got that with a 10 minute wait. Hit the TTA and then did Peter Pan.

We had an 8:05 reservation twice and easily made it for the rope drop. We were at the Swan both times and there was an early bus for the MK for those with breakfast reservations. I believed we stopped at the BW for pick-ups, too. (When I asked at the Swan front desk, they said "no, there are no early busses, you will have to call a taxi. But since we had wireless internet there, I posted on the DIS about that and got the correct info that there was indeed an early bus!)

We have an 8:10 ADR, after eating where exactly do we go from there for the rope drop?
Thanks!

I love the early ADRs for just that reason. It is much faster to see the characters and get on your way.

Dogslider Crystal Palace is almost to the castle so all you need to do is go straight there if going to Fantasyland. If going to Splash or BTMR take a left into Adventure land as soon as you leave CP. Space is opposite so you would take a right.

Thanks! :thumbsup2 We will be heading to Fantastyland first this time as we will have our 2 grandsons with us. I didn't realize that they had different rope drops for each area.

You could also get to CP earlier & they might get your sooner.

They will hold you at the castle for Fantasyland. Have fun!

How early do they let you in the Magic Kingdom if you have breakfast ADR's? I have one at the Crystal Palace for 8:05am. How early will they let me in? Also, is there a separate line for this? If so, where?

We were just at WDW in June 2006 and we had 8:05 am seating for Crystal Palace and Cinderella on different days of course. The buses start running around 6:30 am so you will not need a taxi. Catch the Magic Kingdom bus to get there. When you walk up to the entrance at MK go to the right there is a special line to get in and they let you in about 10 - 15 minutes before 8am. You will have plenty of time and you can get some great people free pictures of the Castle and other things . :teeth:

We stayed at POR and buses were running on a regular basis - we left our room at 6:45am and made it to the park by 7:30am

Also if you are eating breakfast at chef mickeys - ask the Magic Kingdom bus driver to drop you off at CR and he/she will.

The earliest they let anyone in the park is 8am. By their watch. I remember one time nearly freaking out (needlessly) when we had an 805 ADR at the castle and hearing other people tell the CMs that 'their' watch said 8am.... But it's by Disney time. And don't rush down Main Street, enjoy it, you will have time to get there and how often do you get to see Main Street in the am, empty and have a full clear veiw of the castle?

Yes there is a separate line. Last time we had early ADRs we queued up at the far left turnstiles.Twice we had our name checked off a list, once no one asked. Once we parked at TTC and had our confirmation # checked before boarding the monorail, once we were told no direct boats from FW to MK that early so we had to go to to the Contemporary and walk over or hop the monorail -yes a transportation person in purple pants told us that. Next time, same trip, later in the week there was a direct boat that early from FW to MK.

Have a great breakfast! Crystal Palace is one of our favorites.

Glad to hear that the buses start that early. I thought they started 1 hour prior to park opening? Do I just need to bring my confirmation #?

It's not a bad idea to have your confirmation #. You can also get a print out at your resort for guest services that will list all your ADRs for your stay.
