We haven't eaten at CP the past few trips, but every time we walk by, it seems like there are a ton of people hanging around outside, waiting on a table I assume. I would imagine most people have ADRs and only some are walk-ups if they are even taking them, so why the crowds?

For those of you who have dined at CP lately with reservations, how long did you have to wait for a table?

Thanks!

1) CP is VERY popular.
2) Half-hour to 45-min waits are not uncommon.
3) And, that is beyond the ADR time.

MLK weekend on a Saturday - waited about 10 minutes for a 2 PM lunch reservation - there was a huge crowd outside the restaurant but they were seating people very quickly.

Thanks! We are debating between CP for lunch or LTT for dinner. Haven't done either in a few years and I know they're different "experiences", so I guess we'll have to decide. I just remember the huge crowds outside CP and I didn't want to spend 2 hours eating lunch.

We went for breakfast July 21st. We got there before the park opened and checked in and there was a line at that time but the restaurant had not opened yet. When CP opened, we waited less than 5 minutes. Great food and atmosphere.

We have gone for lunch 2 or 3 times and have always has a wait. Usually 30 to 40 minutes past our ADR times. I like it but we have moved on for now.

We always do dinner at CP and usually show up 15-30mins early for our adrs and haven't waited over 15mins to be seated.
I hear that people wait past their adr time and I am blessed to say we have not.

We waited about 20-30 minutes past our ADR for breakfast there and will gladly do so again. It's the best character dining experience in the entire park.

We have an ADR for breakfast before the park opens. I was hoping to eat, and run quick like a bunny to the Rapunzel meet and greet.
I assume since only those with ADRs will be allowed in the park, I won't have a problem.

If there's a long wait, I think I may just blow it off, and grab a counter service meal.
