If you are after healthy fresh meal with a lot of veggies & fruit and lean meat witch one would you go to?

I know that Liberty Tree doesn't have fruit, that's ok if the rest of the food is tasty & fresh

Fresh, with veggies and fruit?

Doesn't really describe either. LT is very Thanksgiving, which does mean vegetables, but it's going to be heavy. Crystal Palace Lunch-Dinner is going to be very American buffet, which is to say CARB O RAMA.

My family does like both the Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree Tavern. CP is going to have characters and a lot more food choices for sure. You will be able to pick exactly what you want from the buffet to ensure that you choose what you want to eat. However, you will need to have good self control because there is a load of breads and pastas and desserts to choose from on the buffet :flower1:

I think if you want to eat healthy (and it's not a chore for you) any buffet will be easier than any sit down TS. There are always salads, fruit, and the carved meats are pretty lean along with some veggie sides. there will, of course, be many unhealthy choices too... but you will definitely be able to get filled up on healthy foods if you choose those.

I got great selection of delicious fruit and omelette for breakfast at Crystal Palace. I was hoping that they will have similar selection for dinner.

LTT is Stouffer's food and I wouldn't exactly consider it "lite" dining. I agree with others that the buffet is probably the better place to get the foods you describe because you can pick what you want.

Fwiw, Liberty Tree Tavern is not an automatic family style meal for lunch. The entrée salad and vegetarian meal look wonderful!

I like buffets in general for eating light. Sounds counter intuitive but any place that has salads, fresh fruit, and peel and eat shrimp (not sure if CP does but others do) is nirvana for me when I am watching what I eat. It is also a great place to practice moderation if you feel like indulging a little bit... I start with a big plate of salad, then pig out on peel and eat shrimp or other lean protein and veggies and then i will take a few bites of more indulgent foods just so i don't feel completely deprived. One mini dessert won't kill anyone either.
