Crystal Palace or Breakfastosaurus

Need help deciding between breakfast at the Crystal Palace or Donalds Breakfastosaurus. Which place would be less busy, better atmosphere, more fun, etc? We will be dining with a 2 and 6 year old. Thanks!

I haven't eaten at Breakfastosaurus, but I had Crystal Palace brkfst a few weeks ago and it was great. Our ADR was for 8:10 and we had plenty of time to get pictures in front of the castle and be one of the first in for breakfast. The characters were fantastic and the food was soooo good.

Breakfastosaurus I have heard is pretty chaotic and two friends said that the buffet tables were notoriously low on food. I have eaten at Crystal Pallace and can't recommend it enough, the food was diverse and very well prepared, it was loud but not so much you couldn't easily carry on a conversation, a bit crowded but very easy to navigate, and plenty of character interaction.

Another vote for CP. While we enjoyed the character interaction at Breakfastosaurus we didn't care for the set up of the cold section selections compared to the other character breakfasts and the layout was congested.

I would decide based on the characters. Which ones are your kids more familiar with? Or which ones do you want them to be more familiar with?

CP is Pooh and friends. B is Donald and friends... one of the few places you can guarantee seeing Donald.

We've done both... certainly CP has a great location and the food was excellent but I don't go to character breakfasts for the food. JMHO

We probably prefer Breakfastosaurus better. We have been to CP several times and love what they have. Right now however, the kids seem to like Donald a little better than Pooh so we head over to AK.

Definately breakfastosaurus! The DW and I eat there at least once every trip. The atmosphere is much more themed and interesting and the staff has always been more in "character" than at crystal palace. If you have kids, they always seem to get more character interaction at Donald's. The food has always been good and never any shortages when we've been there.

No comparison. Crystal Palace is one of my favorite character breakfasts. Nothing wrong with Donald's but I don't think their in the same league.

Besides the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom is my next favorite place to visit, and Donalds is a great place with an OK breakfast.

For some reason little ones seem to be attracted to the Pooh Figures more then Mickey and Donald. I guess their furry and cuddly. The food is better at CP. More open and more activities going on. Both are always busy.

our family loves CP. We have been for both breakfast and dinner and both were great. Love Pooh and friends.

We've done both. Breakfastasaurus was fun..characters are great but Crystal Palace is beautiful and is in the Magic Kingdom. The characters will probably end up being your deciding factor with having children. The food is buffet food. Both were fine, but I think the set up of Crystal Palace makes the food taste better. It is an open, clear, bright space where as Donald's is set up in front of the restaurant (which is normally a McDonald's? I think-if not an actual Mickey D's then close to it so there isn't a bunch of space and it is darker based on the motiff of the place. Either way the kids love it and really that is all that counts. Good luck deciding.

I vote for CP. I have been to both. Donald’s is very cramped (not much room to walk around) and the buffet line is slow moving. CP moved at a great pace and there was plenty of room to walk around. The food is also much better at CP and they have more variety of food.

We did both a couple of weeks ago and I would have to vote for Crystal Palace!!!! Donald's was ok, but I'm not sure if we would do it again. we loved the Crystal Palace, plus it is awesome to get a seating before the park opens!!!The view down Main Street is awesome!!!!
