I snagged a breakfast reservation for my MIL/SIL family but couldn't get another one for ourselves (it would have been too big of a group size to include all of us in one reservation). The reservation is for 8:45am. Here's the thing - I made the reservation for them, I added my MIL to my guest list on the reservation so they should be able to get in (so I was told yesterday when I called Dining Reservations). I'd still like to have breakfast with them, at least be in the same restaurant as my MIL/SIL family, and so my initial thought was to rope drop (early entry) and rush to CP to get a table for our family.
In giving it some thought and doing a quick google search, now I'm not so sure. Do they accept walk-ins for breakfast? It is on a Sunday (2/2) so I understand it'll be a busy day.
Additionally, since I'm on the reservation as well, could my family sneak in early and be first in line for walk-ins? What do they check when you go into the park early for ADR? If one person has a confirmation number, will they check for everyone else in the party going in? If one person uses a confirmation number to get in, can another person technically use the same confirmation number to get in soon after?
TIA!!!
