Crystal Palace ADR

Well today is my 180 mark. I was going to try to get a 8:00 am at CP for May 28 but all I can get is 8:35. Very frustrating. I've never had trouble getting an early ADR at CP. I'm guess I'm just a little surprised.

Did you call or use the online dinning? I tend to call all of mine in. It still works for me and I don't have to worry about the dinning beeing down.

8:35 it's bad, look on the bright side you still get to be in MK before most guest.

Both actually. Did the online thing first, then DH called to see if there was a better time.

You're right, 8:35 isn't bad. I guess I was just surprised that I couldn't get something like a 8:05 or 8:10. Especially on my 180 day mark. On the positive side, that gives me 20 more minutes to sleep in that morning.

Just keep calling/checking the online dining....I always say to be a stalker when it comes to this sort of thing . Especially check when you get closer to your trip because people do cancel. Like the PP said it really isn't that bad because you still are going to be able to walk down a nearly empty Main Street, the only thing that will happen is that you will be missing RD. Regardless I hope you have a great trip.

For what it's worth I tried for an 8:05 on our last trip and got 8:20. We got in to the MK at about 7:50 and checked in at CP around 8:05. We were seated in about 5 minutesYou might get lucky and get in after they seat the 8:20 group.

I've been trying to get an 8:00 a.m. ADR for the Crystal Palace for June 11th for 3 days now and its showing no availability for ANY times.

Hoping its just a glitch in the system and that eventually I'll be able to snag that ADR!

I tried Monday on my 180 + 10 and wasnt able to get an 8:05 for any of our 7 days. I tried online and on the phone. Even the CM on the phone was surprised this far out none of them being available. The earliest was an 8:20 on Tuesday but, I settled on the 8:35 for Monday as that day works better for us. Still checking for the earlier one to pop up though.

I just got off the phone with Disney Dining and the only available breakfast time for June 11th was 8:20! I was really hoping for an 8:05 reservation, and was surprised there wasn't more availability.

Does this mean end of May/early June is going to have higher crowd levels than normal?

I was online bright and early on my 180 +10 and also called in. No 8:05's available for any on my 7 days. Even the CM seemed surprised. I got an 8:35 for my preferred day (the only earlier was on an inconvenient day at 8:20). Not sure what this all means, large groups making early ressies??? She said to keep checking as we get closer to actual vacation time because now with the CC guarantee and cancelation fee, she does think there will be more last minute availability. We're probably still going to head on in as early as possible and if we can get seated great, if not we can wait in awe of a quiet empty park!!! I'm hoping since there are only two of us, we would be able to get seated early

Definitely keep checking and trying. People do cancel when it gets closer the day. Happy planning!

I'm not really convinced they treat any of those early times any differently from the others. Everyone goes in together and I've always felt like they sat you in the order you checked in.

In some ways the later times during that first hour are better. You have more time to take pics on an empty Main Street without worrying about having to hurry up. That time is golden. Use it to your advantage.

Crossing my fingers for that 8:05 AM time for week of June 22nd. I get to call on Christmas morning for my 180 days.

Hmmm…. We’ll see what I end up with on Saturday when I make ours. I was already thinking about moving my preferred time to 8:30 anyway even though we'd be sitting in there at rope drop for assurance of not being late and not having to dash up Main Street.

But we’ll have more than one day at MK too, 3 actually. I'm hoping to put this reservation on our 2nd day there and do rope drop on the 3rd one. Happy planning everyone.
