Let’s start with the Bridal Party Attire:

Bride –

Dress will be white with black cuff across top. There is also a corset in the back that will also be black. I have purchased a used petticoat off eBay and am planning to dye it hot pink. Pink matches my flower colors and I love pink!

Flowers –

I loved this bouquet the minute I came across it. My florist is going to have my roses a little more open and we cut the stargazers down to three due to budget. We talked about adding some fillers to it, but I did leave this up to the florist. He said he wants to add some lily grass in there somewhere to go along with the bridesmaids bouquets. I have made a few little crystal “hidden Mickeys” that I might have him throw in there. But still, I know its going to be the best.

Tiara –

Well I don’t really know what I am going to do about this. I saw a tiara on here made by CinderelliT. And I love it. I started making one for myself, but it looks nothing like it should… so I might have to fork out the money to buy one Here is another that I really like, but it cost $180… and I can’t afford that.

Veil –

Another project for me. I am going to purchase a $30 veil from Hobby Lobby and put some crystals on it myself. Up until recently I didn’t think I even wanted a veil… but I am leaning more towards one.

Jewelry –

I found this necklace and earrings at David’s Bridal. I am not sure of the price, because I found it online. Here is also a second one that I found in person at DB and it is $30. I’m not real sure about the Y shape with the neckline of my dress though.

Hair –

I almost forgot about my hair. This is the kind of style I want my hair. I have thick red hair that goes down to the middle of my back. I want to have my hair half up and half down. I have found many pictures of hair that I love, but this one is the closest. Of course I will have a tiara instead of the flowers, even though I like the flowers too, but I need something princess-ey. This hairstyle makes me question the veil. What do you think? Veil or no veil?

The Ring –

Ok so the deal with the ring, is that I have a ring on my finger, but it was supposed to be a temporary engagement ring. This was because I wanted us to get matching sets. But… I still don’t have my “real” engagement ring. I’m waiting and FH is a bit of a procrastinator, Here is the ring I picked out. The stock photo does not give this ring ANY justice, but when (if) I ever get my “real” engagement ring, I will show you. This picture is of the bridal set. Ohhh how it sparkles in real life!!

Maid of Honor & 2 Bridesmaids –

My girls finally got their dresses. (Mine still hasn’t came in –sigh) I really love their dresses. They changed the style on me. This was actually my first choice dress, but it was a little more costly, so I was trying to be a nice bride and let them get away with a less costly dress First picture is an edited version of what is on David’s Bridal website. The dresses will be black with a white sash. The second picture is a mobile phone picture of my sister (MOH) trying her dress on. I’m not real sure about that sash though. Its just a little too wide.

Excuse the lawn chair, we had people over before our furniture came in, and now the furniture and lawn chairs are there, lol

Jr. Bridesmaid –

When the older girls changed their dress styles, I came across a problem with my Jr. Bridesmaids dress. Well they didn’t have the same style dress in black. So I had to resort to a flower girl dress in black with a white sash. It looks really cute together and actually gives her a little something special.

Flowers –

We have decided on these bouquets. I love the way they look. I actually want the same colors too. The Jr. Bridesmaids will be smaller and I am considering putting some roses in the MOH’s bouquet. So that way, hers will be just a little different than the other bouquets. I want to add a few crystals in their bouquets too. I’m not sure if I will go the whole crystal mickeys or just a few crystals here and there. Opinions?

Jewelry –

I haven’t found anything I truly love for the girls. But I am leaning towards necklaces that have crystals and pearls together.

Hair –

This is what I have decided for their hair. Hair is so hard to decide on because you get different lengths and thicknesses of hair. I am hoping this hairstyle will work well for all my bridal party. And then there are these combs that I love, made by PixyDusted. I want to either makes some of these (if I can handle it) or some pearls like in the picture.

Ok so the most amazing thing has happened! I learned that if I can't make a decision, just post it on here and I will be sure to change my mind

So yesterday after posting what I am wanting for jewelry and hair piece, I thought I would check out etsy. Well I found a beautiful necklace and felt it was just perfect for me. Its fun, but still has a bit of a formality about it.

So I asked the seller if she could work on some earrings and headpiece too. She accepted for a total of $75!!!!

Ok so here is the necklace that I absolutely adore and can't wait to have

For the earrings... I told her I wanted this style, but to use the clear beads like on the necklace. I also mentioned if budget would permit to add a small pearl right above the large clear bead, to match the necklace. She didn't say either way, but I am sure I will love it anyway. I also chose something a little simpler because of how busy the necklace is. And as soon as the ceremony and pictures are over, I will be taking them out, because my skin is sensitive to metal.

For the headpiece, I didn't have an exact picture of what I wanted, so I gave her these two pictures and I am going to let her work me up something. I am going to have it on a comb instead of a headband though, because of the hairstyle I have chosen.

My dress finally came in!! I haven't made the trip to pick it up yet (2 hours away) but I am sooo excited!!!

Ok over the weekend, I went shopping and bought all the goodies to create my "table numbers luminere".

Here is a picture of my trial. I plan to print "Table 1, 2, 3, etc" across the top. Then the little design will be different on each luminere and they have cute rhinestone embelishments.

I am loving this DIY project as it is the first that I feel actually turned out great.

I'm still considering a black ribbon somewhere on there, maybe around the top, to disguise any imperfect cutting.

So.. let wedding drama and stress begin. Somewhere along the line, I decided I wanted more bridesmaids. I first asked my sister and she accepted. Then a couple weeks later she says she can't afford it. That was fine... so I asked a girl that had been my best friend through elementary and jr high (they moved - we kept in touch). She accepted and I could tell she had been bummed I didn't ask her in the first place.

Well... I got a call last night and she says she doesn't think she can be a bridesmaid now. I had a bad feeling about it all along, because she is so long distant and kept putting off buying her dress.

So I am thinking about just cutting out the 3rd bridesmaid position. I already bought the bridesmaid gift, with her name engraved into it, and I'm thinking its just going to cause me more headaches and stress.

The third groomsman is my brother. I love him dearly, but he is having tough financial problems right now. So I was thinking... maybe I could ask him to dress up in clothes he owns, instead of renting a tux, and be an usher.

I feel horrible, I cried all last night. I was supposed to get up early to call to make ADR's... but I didn't feel like it.

Ok so another post in my journal... that will never get read

So I decided I wanted to have Mickey Head programs. I went on etsy and posted an ad. I got a reply from someone who turns out is about 20 minutes away from me...

So I proposed that we meet up to discuss how I want them cut out (Cricut Mickey Font Cartridge & Cricut) and instead she told me where I can get them cutout myself for $10!!! Yes TEN WHOLE DOLLARS!!!

I am doing a happy dance, hehehehe.

Well I thought that was a great plan... then I called them and they said I would have to buy the blades and mat (no problem) but then she said I would have to buy each sheet of paper from her... at .45 each.

Well that kinda blows my plans of having them printed ... then cutout. Plus to get 80 mickey heads, it would cost me about $55.

I got to skim through some of your posts and I just wanted to say that everything looks great. I wouldn't worry if people don't get to your PJ right away. I actually saw it a little earlier but didn't get to post any replies just cuz I have been sooo busy! Well anyways I love your dress. I wanted to have color in my dress originially but then I found my dress and I completely forgot about color. I guess I didn't really want it that much! I love your hair photos. I love the half up half down look and I think that the veil thing is completely up to you! I think the veil tops off the whole bride look but that's just me.

Your BM dress looks beautiful. I love the contrast in color. And I totally understand the lawn chair. We were sitting on the floor for a while until we got our furniture in. So I would say the chair is definetly a step up.

I am working on my Mickey Fan Programs now. I was trying to find someone with a cricut machine too but it ended up not working out. So now me and my BM's and DF are going to spend the afternoon cutting and gluing and tying ribbon.

So yesterday I went to Hobby Lobby to get some more goodies. They were having a bridal event and I saved 50% off

I finally got our toasting flutes. They are just plain ol flutes and I am possibly going to decorate them with ribbons. These were $7.50

I also got our kinfe and cake server. Again, very plain... but couldn't beat the $5 price tag. I will probably do some decorating like these.

I also got my flower girls headbands for $3 each. I plan to add ribbons, pearls, and crystals to them. I have all of these things in my "wedding supplies" so no extra cost invlolved..

Oh... and I got my veil. At hobby Lobby... for $15 !

Ok so I have been really really picky about my veil. I don't like the way the cheapo ones lay and I don't like the price tag on the bridal store ones. Well I found this veil, normally $30, and tried it one. I loved it. It is 2-tier and is a fingertip veil. I plan to add some pearls and crystals throughout the veil for a little sparkle. I want my headpiece to be more of the attn getter than the veil though.

I had to pick up some more vellum for our invitations and this was also 50% off

Now I just need to find black A9 envelopes and white 6X9 envelopes. I have to get them all printed and assembled, ready to be sent out on July 13th.

SO it has been awhile since I have posted, but I officially got my e-ring on the fourth of July!

It was so cute, he tried coaxing my youngest daughter into saying "marry Jeff". Poor baby didn't feel good and was running a fever.

The next morning she said it though... then the next day (Monday) I took her to the dr and he sent me with her to the ER thinking her "belly ache" was appendicitis. But luckily it was not. I still get upset thinking about my 3yo daughter having surgery.
