I finally saw Wishes for the first time on friday night and i was so touched and moved by it all. i actually started to cry because it was soooo beautiful. the music and the firework display is something i can not describe. did anyone else cry or is it just me?

I get so emotional over alot of things. I'll probably have to fight back tears when I see my first parade at WDW or even walking down main street. I'll let you know how I do during wishes. I get to go in 5 days!:jumping1:

leaving the same time huh??? :)

I saw a little clip of it from the travel channel the other day... looks really really good... i cant wait!

I always cry during the fireworks. My 2 yr old is scared of them and gets upset everytime they start. December was the first time I had seen Wishes, and my DH finally picked up my son and wandered off with him. Joked with him that "you're ruining Mommy's moment." Can't help it - I'm very emotional!

I got teary-eyed! So did my DS (age 5). The music at the end got to us.

Yes, I'm the sentimental sort also. I admit I get tears in my eyes during WISHES. I also tear up during Illuminations. Sometimes I even tear up during sappy commercials!

I'm very jaded, but my DH had wanted to stay in the middle of Main St. near the hub, for Wishes. We had a wonderful view, and to my surprise, after only 1 or 2 minutes, I teared up, and silently cried for the duration of the show.

Wow. That is truly an amazing, moving show.

Dh said - oh all fireworks are the same, but even old Mr. I hate all things Disney said wow that was something. I had something special to wish for, so I got teary too.

Wishes is so GREAT. I just returned on the 12th. I took my mom to Disney for her first time. It was her Christmas present. She cried during Wishes. That show is awesome. I love the soundtrack and can't wait for it to come out. At MVMCP they added to Wishes and you had to turn completely around to see all of the fireworks. THAT WAS MY MOST FAVORITE MOMENT OF THAT TRIP!!!:) We also watched it a 3rd time from Ohana. It was even GREAT then!!:) I can't wait to go back and see it again!!:)

I'm such a sap, I cry watching the WDW vacation planning videos!!!!!

I always use to get watery eyes watching fireworks and parades at Disney, Wishes is pretty emotional too. I think its for two reasons, one because I'm crying happy tears because I'm at Disney and I remember being there as a child and two for a very different reason I think how much I would have loved for my kids to experience this with me (we have had two miscarriages), sorry to get emotional here. But Disney tends to bring this feeling up more than any other place and I think it's because I have so many happy childhood memories there... but then I think someday! Someday it will be my turn to share this with someone...;)

YOU KNOW I AM GLAD THIS THREAD WAS STARTED BECAUSE I ALREADY "FOR WARNED" MY BOYFRIEND THAT I AM GOING TO CRY LIKE A BABY DURING PARADES, DURING FIREWORKS, THE FIRST WALK DOWN MAIN STREET AND ESP. THE FIRST TIME I SEE MY BRICK. I BOUGHT IT BACK IN 1994 AND NEVER SAW IT.

Not at all.
What does it for me, though, is that envelope with Mickey's gloved hand on it slid under the door our last morning.

Good to know I'm not the only one who gets teary over these things!!!

Wishes got me too. We saw it on December 13th. Now I'm sure it didn't help that we were catching a plane the next day, but I found it very moving. Illuminations occasionally causes a tear or two to fall as well.

I don't cry but do get goose bumps everytime I see Wishes...just the whole talk of making your dreams come true.....

What gets me the most is that first walk up main street and seeing the castle...gets me every trip!

Thank you, thank you so much for starting this thread! I felt like such a wimp when I cried during the Wishes on December 15th! Even my too cool for Disney 13 year old got a little teary eye. Once the fireworks wore done we all held hands and walked backed to the boat not saying anything just embracing the beauty of it. Once we got back home we watched the video my 11 year old DS took of the fireworks and would you know it tears wore soon running. I feel so happy knowing that there are other saps like me here!

I'm crying reading these posts!!!!!!!! I cry watching the promotional video, I cry when I enter each park. I cry smelling the Florida air and seeing the flamingos in Epcot. I cry at almost EVERY parade, and all Disney fireworks (still haven't seen Wishes--can't wait!!) I cry when DS7 is hugging his favorite Disney pals with that precious look on his face like he's in heaven. And, I cry when my mom thanks me for taking her with us, even though she suggested "don't you think we should go somewhere ELSE this time??" No mom, this is it!!! When DS is older, maybe we'll venture to other places--but I still want to continue to go to Disney AT LEAST once a year if it's at ALL possible!!!!!!

P.S. Tag Fairy, if you're still out there and haven't gotten me anything for Christmas yet, I heard that a Tag makes a GREAT gift!!! I've been a really good girl this year--I gave Josh a kidney! Doesn't that count for SOMETHING?? Still clappin' and still believin'!!!!!!!
