Cruising with DVC points

Hi we are in the process of purchasing our DVC. We are just waiting to hear about ROFR. I have a couple of questions about using the points for the cruises.
1) Can you take a cruise in the last 4 months of your use year? In the info I have it sounds like no.
2) Are the taxes, port fees, and fuel surcharge additional or are they included when you pay with points.

You can sail on a cruise during the last 4 months of your UY as long as the cruise is booked prior to to the last 4 months.

Example. My UY is March and the last 4 months would be Nov 1 - Feb 28/29. I could take a cruise between Nov 1 and Feb 28/29 as long as it was booked by Oct 31.

I believe that taxes, port fees and any fuel surcharge are extra.

We have been on 3 Disney Cruises and have never had to pay a cent extra - the points were fully inclusive and there was no excess to pay.

By the way the cruises are fantastic!!
